Xbox has announced an Xbox Partner Preview showcase for later this week, and it's set to include announcements from the likes of Capcom and EA.

The second Xbox Games Showcase of the year has been announced for later this week. Following up the first Xbox Games Showcase of 2024 – which gave us a look at first party titles like Bethesda's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Obsidian's Avowed – Xbox is handing the baton to third party publishers this time around with the Xbox Partner Preview showcase set for this week.

Xbox has confirmed three games for the showcase so far. EA is giving players a new look at Surgent Studios' debut title Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, which is a metroidvania directed by British actor Abubakar Salim (best known for playing Bayek in Assassin's Creed Origins) and is set to release on April 23, 2024.

Meanwhile Capcom is going to show off more of it's upcoming Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which is a new IP and was revealed at last year's Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023. Finally, Nexon will show off more of The First Berserker: Khazan which is an action RPG set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe.

Microsoft has also teased that some additional partners will be included in the event, but truth be told I'm stumped as to who they could be! The only guess I have is that Sega may make an appearance considering how close the two companies have been when it comes to Like a Dragon and Persona games; and with Persona 3 Reload rumoured to get The Answer DLC, maybe it'll come to fruition in the showcase.

Xbox Partner Preview showcase: start time and how to watch

The Xbox Partner Preview showcase start time is 6pm GMT / 1pm EST / 10am PST on Wednesday, March 6 and is set to run for 30 minutes according to Microsoft in a post on the Xbox Wire.

Microsoft will be streaming the event on the official Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels, with regional versions, and versions with American Sign Language also available.

  • Xbox Partner Preview on YouTube

  • Xbox Partner Preview on Twitch

  • Xbox Partner Preview with ASL on Twitch

Both platforms will stream the event at the exact same time, so feel free to choose your stream of choice. It's worth noting that the YouTube stream will be available in 4K 60fps, while the streams on Twitch are limited to 1080p 60fps.

Of course, you'll be able to watch the event on-demand after the stream has concluded, so if you want to skip through to find the games you're interested in, it's available. We'll embed the YouTube stream as soon as it's up on the Xbox channel.
