Celebrity Big Brother winners then and now from Scotty T to Katie Price
Celebrity Big Brother winners now, from those on their 16th boob job to prison stints and death heartbreak.
The hit reality show is making a comeback to our telly on Monday night after a six-year break. In total, 22 celebrity series of the show have been shown on Channel 4 and Channel 5 before it was cancelled in 2018. But now, ITV is bringing back the celeb version of the famous reality show.
A bunch of well-known faces will move into Britain's most famous house and with Louis Walsh, Fern Britton and David Potts rumoured to be joining, it's going to be an amazing series. As fans get ready to watch the famous housemates take on tasks and nominations, we look back at some of the past winners.
Ulrika Jonsson
Ulrika won the sixth series of the show back in 2009 with the former Gladiators host beating the likes of Tina Malone, Michelle Heaton and LaToya Jackson to win. After her time on the show, she went on to be the team captain of the long-running TV show Shooting Stars on the BBC until 2011.
After this, Ulrika kept a low profile, enjoying life with new hubby Brian Monet. In 2019, it was announced the pair had split. She appeared on a number of dating shows including First Dates and Celebs Go Dating, but none of them helped her find love again.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesDenise Welch
Loose Women's Denise had a rollercoaster ride on Big Brother, but she emerged as the champion of the ninth series in 2012. The ex-Coronation Street actress became infamous for often getting tipsy and undressing in the house. Shortly after exiting the show, the 65 year old parted ways with her then-husband Tim Healy. Denise also dramatically "walked out" from Loose Women in 2013, due to disagreements with ITV director-general Helen Ware. Welch made a comeback to Loose Women in 2018 and has since been a regular face on the panel.
Rylan Clark
X Factor star Rylan exited the house to thunderous applause after triumphing over villains Heidi and Spencer Montag in 2013. This marked the start of Rylan's successful career. Straight after leaving the show, Rylan secured a regular spot on This Morning presenting the entertainment news segment. During this period, he also bagged a hosting role for Channel 5's side show for the reality giant, Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
Rylan continued to present the show until it was axed in 2018. Since then, Rylan has featured on a host of shows including Ready, Steady, Cook and Celebrity Gogglebox.
Charlotte Crosby
Geordie Shore star Charlotte was crowned queen of the show's twelfth series during the summer of 2013. With a victory over Five star Abz Love and ex-actress Lauren Harries, reality TV queen Charlotte soon secured lots of presenting jobs, such as the MTV hit show, Just Tattoo Of Us.
She also starred twice on Celebs Go Dating - once in 2016 and again in 2019. In March 2022, Charlotte found herself on a list of "non-compliant social media influencers", after not advertising products to legal standards. Recently, fans saw her take part in the Aussie version of The Masked Singer.
Katie Price
Katie Price won one of the show's most memorable seasons in January 2015. Joining halfway through, Katie beat Katie Hopkins and Perez Hilton. Since then, Katie has gone through a significant transformation. Last year, she underwent her sixteenth boob job and looks very different to how she once looked. Family and pals close to the ex-glamour model worry about her quest in finding her "perfect" body. Despite this, Katie dismisses these worries, proclaiming it is her body and she'll do with it how she wishes.
Scotty T
Another star from Geordie Shore, Scotty T, emerged as the winner of one of the most controversial series of Celebrity Big Brother in early 2016. The cheeky lad managed to outshine former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, who was caught cheating on her boyfriend with Jeremy O'Hara while in the house.
However, despite his post-show success, the pressures of fame took a toll on Scotty, leading him to develop a cocaine addiction. The habit became so severe that he checked himself into a rehab centre in Scotland in 2017, where he spent two weeks getting clean. After leaving rehab, Scotty stayed clean for a while but recently confessed to relapsing and using cocaine again. He insisted that he was using the drug recreationally and attributed it to the loss of several close people in his life, including friends and his stepdad.
Stephen Bear
Stephen Bear left the house as one of the least popular winners ever. However, the Ex on the Beach star enjoyed the attention as work offers poured in. Shortly after his time on the show, he started dating former Love Island star Georgia Harrison. But things took a dark turn when Stephen released footage of them having sex after they had broken up. Georgia took the reality star to court, claiming it was a breach of her privacy. The judge agreed and sentenced Bear to 21 months in prison for revenge porn. He was released earlier this year, just halfway into his sentence.
Sarah Harding
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding won first place in the Big Brother house in the summer of 2017, where she connected with former Bachelor Chad Johnson. However, things took a sad turn for the singer when she announced in 2020 that she had been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. She sadly passed away in September 2021, at the age of 39.
