Xbox Game Pass gets MLB The Show 24 alongside 4 other free games in March lineup

Wondering what next month will bring to Xbox Game Pass subscribers? We've compiled everything announced ahead of the batch announcements.

Xbox Game Pass shows no signs of stopping, with several new releases like the excellent Indivisible, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and Tales of Arise arriving on the service earlier this month. We may still be in February for the time being, but we already know of a few games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2024 thanks to a mixture of announcements from Microsoft amd other publishers.

The biggest addition to Xbox Game Pass in March 2024 has to be Diablo 4, which is set to be the first Activision Blizzard title to join Xbox Game Pass since the Microsoft Activision Deal went through. This was confirmed on the Official Xbox Podcast earlier this month by Xbox President Sarah Bond.

That same podcast was where it was announced that some Xbox games would be going multiplatform, but PlayStation is giving back this month as Sony's San Diego Studio is releasing MLB The Show 24 on Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release for the fourth year in a row.

Xbox Game Pass March 2024 games

The following is the full list of games currently announced for the Xbox Game Pass March 2024 lineup. These confirmations come from a number of different sources:

• Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (console, PC, cloud) – March 5

• Lightyear Frontier (console, PC, cloud) – March 19

• MLB The Show 24 (console, PC, cloud) – March 19

• Diablo 4 (console, PC) – March 28

• Open Roads (console, PC, cloud) – March 28

While these are the only titles confirmed right now, they won't be alone in the Xbox Game Pass March 2024 lineup. Microsoft will announces new additions to the subscription in two batches over the course of March (with the first announcement likely to arrive on Tuesday, March 5). While these games will be included in those batches, there are likely to be more games joining them throughout March 2024.

These games will remain on Xbox Game Pass for the foreseeable future – with first party-owned titles like Diablo 4 likely to remain a part of Xbox Game Pass as long as the service continues to exist.
