PS Plus Essential March 2024: Sifu confirmed for this month

Sony has officially confirmed the PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup and it includes Sifu, F1 23, and Hello Neighbour 2

Once again, the PS Plus leaks were true as Sony has officially confirmed that the hard-hitting brawler Sifu is one of the PS Plus Essential March 2024 games for PS5 and PS4 owners. For those unaware, Sifu launched in 2022 from French studio Sloclap and centres around a martial artist seeing revenge on his master's killers. The game focuses on impactful hand-to-hand combat based on classic action films like Oldboy and Jackie Chan' s filmography. The game also features a unique mechanic in which your character ages up after every death, leading to an extra layer of strategy to contend with on a given run.

Also included in the PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup are the two titles that weren't leaked – F1 23 and Hello Neighbour 2. We gave F1 23 a 5/5 in our review, calling it "the most complete Formula 1 racing game to-date, with features that will satisfy hardcore fans and engage new ones, offering realistic and graphically stunning gameplay". Plus it'll get you in the mood for F1 24 – which has a its May 31, 2024 release date confirmed earlier this week.

Sony has also thrown in a bonus this month, offering the Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion to subscribers. The expansion originally released back in 2022 and focuses on Savathûn, The Witch Queen – who is the sister of the original Destiny's The Taken King expansion's villain Oryx.

PS Plus Essential March 2024 games

The following is the full list of games confirmed for the PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup as confirmed by Sony on the PlayStation Blog:

These titles will become available for PS Plus subscribers to download next Tuesday, March 5 and remain available for the whole month. You'll need to add them to your library before Tuesday, April 2 or they'll be gone forever.

This is also the case for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, who are able to redeem the Essential games as part of their subscription. However, you'll need to wait until Wednesday, May 13 to find out what games will be a part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 lineup.
