Kim Kardashian had a proud mum moment as she gushed over her son's major sporting achievement this weekend.

The 43-year-old TV personality said her eight-year-old son Saint West made it into the All-Star Game and he played very well. The proud mum shared a video on Saturday while watching her son play basketball and wrote in the caption: "Saint made the All Star team. They won and he played so good."

The SKIMS founder filmed Saint during the game as he ran from one side of the court to the other, dribbling the ball past the opposing team and scoring a basket. In a second Instagram story, Kim shared how Saint scored again after receiving a successful pass from another team member.

Kim shares Saint with her ex-husband Kanye West and last month the pair were both spotted at a basketball game in Los Angeles. The pair also appeared to have a tense stand-off before their son took to the court.

Any time their eyes were not on the basketball game, Kim and Kanye were pictured looking at their phones but not interacting further. The pair were once one of the biggest A-list couples around, but Kim and Kanye decided to call it quits in February 2021 when Kim filed for divorce.

Once their divorce was finalised in November 2022, Kanye moved on with Bianca Censori and they tied the knot in December of that year. Kanye has often taken aim at his ex-wife, but that did not stop Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian from hugging the rapper when they reunited last week for his son Saint West's basketball game.

Relationship expert Louella Alderson believes Khloe's behaviour around Kanye will have been influenced by her family. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Louella said: "Despite the turmoil and tension that has occurred between Kanye West and the Kardashian family in recent years, there will always be a connection between them as Kanye and Kim share four children together."

She said Kanye and Khloe's hug could have been "a genuine moment of affection" between them after years of being family. The relationship expert added: "Khloe has always been good at putting her personal feelings aside and focusing on the well-being of her family.

"This has been most evident in her relationship with Tristan, the father of her children. He cheated and lied to her on a number of occasions, but Khloe doesn't talk badly about him and continues co-parenting with him in a positive way for the sake of their two children."
