If you're a fan of Biscoff and beer, then Aldi has got the perfect mash-up product for you.

If you prefer your beer a little sweeter, perhaps the Harper's Brewing Co Caramel Biscuit-flavour beer could be the treat you're looking for - and it turns out that people are only just discovering it, and how delicious it is. If you love the sweet, caramel taste of Biscoff biscuits in milkshakes, cheesecakes, in spreads - this beer may well be your new obsession.

A Reddit user took to the 'Casual' forum to post about their newfound alcohol love, penning: "This Biscoff beer from Aldi has no right being this good." They added: "Bought it out of sheer curiosity and it's ended up being phenomenal."

The post received hundreds of upvotes, and someone joked that they were starting their car to go and nab themselves some of the £1.49 sweet stuff to see if it's really as good as people were making it out to be.

Someone fumed: "Damn it. I saw this in Aldi yesterday and assumed it would be awful so didn't get it. I will have to pick up some next time."

Another asked: "Why is everything Biscoff now? Spread, milkshakes, cakes, now beer?! I see it everywhere", and a Redditor responded: "Because it tastes so nice?" Somebody else referred to it as the "new salted caramel", which surged in popularity years ago.

An excited social media user said: "Eh up! I literally just picked up a bottle tonight and am about to crack it open in a bit. Excited now", but then they referred to it as "rank" once they tried it - so it's safe to say the flavour sensation isn't for everyone. Another agreed, saying: "It just tastes of flavourings, not beer", however, if you were looking to venture into the world of beer, but prefer sweeter things for now, it may be worth a go.

One impressed beer lover even took to X, formerly Twitter, to rave about the concoction, penning: "Aldi has used arcane magic to create a sacred liquid. It's a decent beer, but they've replaced the aftertaste with Biscoff! Colour me impressed…and intimidated."
