New York Jets star Quinnen Williams had a laugh at the Pro Bowl, teasing fellow players about the recent spat between Travis Kelce and Justin Tucker. A video of Williams mic'd up during the 2024 Pro Bowl games showed him jokingly warning a teammate to steer clear of Tucker as he warmed up.

The jest was in reference to an incident involving Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker during the AFC Championship game. Chiefs players, including Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, were annoyed because they felt Tucker was in their workout space on the field.

This led to Kelce kicking Tucker's football and tossing his helmet away. Tucker later commented that Kelce had overreacted to the situation. He explained: "The way it works is each team's kicker goes to the other team's designated warmup area on the field and for me, it's usually 90 mins before kickoff. "

"I've been doing the exact same thing for 12 years, never really had a problem with anybody," he continued. "I saw Patrick there trying to warm up and get some dropbacks. He asked me while I was on the ground stretching if I could move my helmet."

Tucker revealed that, initially, he thought Kelce's actions were just a bit of fun. However, he soon realised that it might have been more significant to the Chiefs star. Even so, Tucker remained focused on getting ready for the match.

After the game, Mahomes suggested that Tucker had purposely picked where he would warm up before the game to annoy the Chiefs players. Mahomes kept kicking away Tucker's placeholder, stopping him from practicing.

"He does that little stuff, I think, to try to get under our skin," Mahomes said on "The Drive" on KCSP radio. "I asked him to move his stuff. He moved it, I think, two inches but not out of the way. I was going to let it slide, but Travis got in and moved it for me. And after that, I wasn't gonna let him put it back down."

On an episode of his podcast "New Heights", Kelce shared his view of the situation, saying he moved the kicker's gear "as politely" as he could. He also pointed out that if he wanted to chuck the helmet 50 yards, he would've done so.

The Chiefs, with Kelce leading the charge, managed to edge out Tucker and the Ravens in a nail-biting AFC title game, ending with a score of 17-10. Kelce was the star of the show for Kansas City, catching 11 passes for 116 yards and scoring a touchdown, all while his famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift, cheered him on from the stands. Tucker, on the other hand, made a single field goal attempt in the game for 43 yards and an extra point.
