Larsa Pippen is dating the son of her ex-husband's biggest rival - and couldn't resist a dig when they went Instagram official.

In a crazy turn of events, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife is now in a relationship with Marcus Jordan, who is the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan.

It would be strange enough already for Larsa to be dating the son of her ex-hubby's former teammate, but it's all incredibly awkward as Pippen and Jordan seem to despise each other.

Scottie and Michael played together for the Chicago Bulls for many years, but egos have got in the way of their relationship, which completely deteriorated in the wake of 2020 documentary The Last Dance.

Furious Pippen blasted the series for 'glorifying' Jordan and diminishing his role in their team's success - and it doesn't seem like they'll be making up any time soon.

That's because Jordan's son Michael has now gone Instagram official with Larsa, who was married to Pippen for 24 years before they divorced in 2021 and shares four kids with the basketball superstar.

Larsa, 48, insisted she did not know 32-year-old Marcus, the second eldest son of Jordan, when Michael was playing with her ex-husband.

They first sparked relationship rumours in September last year when they were spotted grabbing lunch together at a Japanese restaurant.

They were spotted packing on the PDA at romantic dinners and on holiday, but have only just publicly confirmed they are a couple.

Marcus and Larsa went Instagram official when the Real Housewives star posted a sweet snap of the couple holding hands.

But the most interesting part of the picture was what was happening behind the pair, as there was a large floral display in the shape of Jordan's infamous number 23 Bulls jersey.

She also made reference to Jordan's association with Nike in the caption, writing: "Checks over stripes," showing her support for Nike over Adidas.

In response, Marcus replied: "That's what I like, that's what we like!"

They've come a long way since October last year, when Larsa attempted to shut down rumours of a relationship.

"We're friends," Larsa told PEOPLE. "We've been friends for a few years and that's really what it is. We're friends."

The following month they were spotted cuddling on a romantic beach day, then later on in November they got heckled by a fan while out on a date.

While watching the Los Angeles Chargers lose 30-27 to the Kansas City Chiefs at the SoFi Staidum, their romantic evening was interrupted by someone in the stands.

The fan decided to call out Pippen for dating the son of her ex's apparent enemy, shouting: "Hey Larsa, that's what you're doing?

"You're with the boy, Mike's son? You a cold motherf***** ain't you! You're cold as a motherf*****, homie."

Marcus also attended the premiere of the Real Housewives of Miami season 5 with Larsa - and were seen enjoying a romantic dinner at Coconut Grove.

Michael and Scottie were teammates at the Chicago Bills, but there was no love lost between the pair.

There had been tensions for some time, but it all boiled over with the release of 10-part ESPN documentary The Last Dance in 2020.

Pippen felt that the docuseries 'glorified' Jordan and 'downplayed' the contribution made by Scottie and the rest of their teammates.

"Even in the second episode, which focused for a while on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, the narrative returned to MJ and his determination to win," Pippen wrote in his 2021 memoir Unguarded.

"I was nothing more than a prop. His 'best teammate of all time' he called me. He couldn't have been more condescending if he tried."

Pippen claimed Jordan deserved a 'large portion of the blame' for the documentary, as he had been given editorial control, describing his rival as 'the leading man and director'.

Scottie added: "'To make things worse, Michael received $10M for his role in the doc while my teammates and I didn't earn a dime, another reminder of the pecking order from the old days."
