A woman has candidly shared her "real" bikini body online to show others what natural beauty looks like.

In a world of filters and Photoshop, we become extremely disconnected from the real world and see things in an edited reality, which often drives our insecurities.

However, body positivity influencer Ariella Nyssa is known for her real and raw photos, and will constantly share self-love and positivity online to help others embrace the skin theya re in.

The social media star has been applauded for celebrating all of her so-called imperfections as she shares un-posed bikini pics on her feed. In a recent post, the Aussie influencer said her "cellulite has never hurt anyone" as she flaunted her curves.

"Cellulite never hurt nobody. We've been taught to hate it, and for what? It's beautiful. It's like art," Ariella said as she shared her thoughts on body positivity. Proudly modelling endless bikinis, she feels it's important to share "raw" content to her followers to remind them it's okay to not have a "perfect" body.

Due to us always seeing picture-perfect bikini bodies that have been airbrushed and tweaked, it's hard for us to not compare - and Ariella is on a mission to make sure women see her natural body in her defiant social media photos. She shows that it's okay to have curves, lumps and cellulite.

In another post, Ariella said: "Why has society been so hell bent on making us hate ourselves? Is it to sell more products? Is it to make us feel small? When I was 10, I remember every single time I would go grocery shopping with my mum.. the magazines would be right near the checkout.

"And nearly every time without a doubt, they were commenting negatively about a woman's body - 'She's let herself go', 'she's put on a few extra pounds' and if it wasn't commented on a woman's body it was enforcing diet culture. '6 day meal plan to lose 5 kgs', 'want that summer body and 7 pack you have always wanted?'," followed by two sad emojis.

She further added: "Your worth is not defined by a number on the scales. Or the size of your stomach. It's not defined by how your body looks in lingerie or a bikini. It's about WHO YOU ARE! And you are so friggen beautiful I wish you could see what I see. Here's to f**** society's standards of perfect and making our OWN!"

It seems as if Ariella's words of positivity have touched fans as one Instagram follower wrote: " You're such a positive inspiration and make people feel better about themselves," while another added: "You literally came to my mind today when I looked at myself before I got in the shower, I started to criticise myself in my head and then thought how beautiful and confident you are."
