Radford family fans rally round as cancer fundraiser reaches £60k in donations
The Radford family and their fans have rallied behind family friend Sophie Walker and her parents to raise money for a fundraiser that has now reached over £60,000.
The latest episode of 22 Kids & Counting is understood to have featured Sue Radford, 48, Noel Radford, 53, and some of their children organising a car boot sale. They attempted to raise money for Sophie, 17, whose family are understood to have appeared in the recent episode.
Sophie - who has nine siblings, including a twin sister - is the daughter of Rebecca Walker, 43, and her husband Jamie Walker, 44. The couple are said to be friends with reality TV stars Sue and Noel, who have 22 children together.

It's described by Cancer Research as "a type of kidney cancer that most commonly affects young children". The page adds that she's "encountered a series of unfortunate events with her treatment".
It states that the NHS "can't offer much hope," adding that she could have palliative chemotherapy but it "wouldn't give her much quality of life". The page, set up by Rebecca, adds that she may be able to have treatment abroad though.

A link to the fundraiser - which has reached over £61,000 and has a goal of £350,000 - was shared on the Radford family's Instagram Story recently. Fans were thanked for their support in the caption of the post, shared on Sunday.

The Radford family responded to it: "Sophie is just the most inspirational girl and I know how proud you and Jamie are of Sophie. We love you so much."
Following the fundraiser reaching £60,000 in recent days, the Walker family said in a post on Monday: "We woke up to this today. Wow! Thank you so much. This is absolutely amazing and we are so grateful to everyone helping us to get Sophie treatment that will hopefully save her life."
A number of those who have donated in recent days shared that they had heard about the family on Channel 5's 22 Kids & Counting. One person commented: "Had to donate after watching 22 kids and counting, such a brave young lady."
Another said: "Saw Sophie's story on 22 Kids and I think she is incredible. What an inspiration. Good luck Sophie." A third stated: "Just watched your story on 22 kids and counting and wishing you all the luck in the world... stay strong."
A fourth said on the fundraiser: "I seen your story on 22 Kids and Counting. Thinking of you Sophie and sending you lots of love." Another said: "Just watched 22 kids and counting and had to donate. I wish you all the very best Sophie."
