Stacey Solomon praised for showing off 'real body' in 'Baywatch' bikini
Stacey Solomon has been praised for showing off her ‘real body’ in her latest holiday snaps.
The 34-year-old mum-of-five whisked her family away to the Caribbean for Christmas – but was surprised with a cheeky present from husband Joe Swash while they were there. Loose Women star Stacey took to Instagram to show her 5.8 million followers what Joe had bought her, but claimed the tiny red bikini ‘Pamela Anderson’ style was more of a gift for him than her.
Sharing a hilarious clip from her lavish holiday to Jamaica as she tried it on, she told Joe she didn’t know if she could wear it, but later on Stacey appeared to have found her body confidence as she posed in a series of bikini snaps on the beach with the kids.

Pretty sure he bought this from a costume shop in a Baywatch packet. But I actually like it. Not my usual choice of swimwear. But I can honestly say I’ve never felt so attended to since we got here. It’s working wonders with beach drinks.”
Stacey carried on: “And this is an on-site as to what Joe’s camera roll looks like right now. He’s spent his day enjoying his present to me. Anyway this is the ‘F**k it’ year, so posting these because, Well f**k it why not.”

Ending with a body positive message, the TV and social media star added: “And just a little note to say... wear the bikini. Your body deserves to wear what you put in it. As long as makes you happy who cares! Plus you might find yourself getting ALL the drinks down on the beach @realjoeswashy.”
Fans and famous pals were quick to comment underneath with former Geordie Shore legend Vicky Pattison writing: “Babe,” followed by a heart eyes emoji. One fan wrote: “She’s the new Pam. Now run down that beach doll with that song in your head. You look great xx.” A second chimed in: “Baywatch beach goddess!”

Back on her Instagram stories after wearing the bikini for a bit, Stacey admitted she was quite liking it – and the attention it brought. She joked: “Joe is slowly but surely regretting his life choices because guess who’s getting served all the drinks today. He can’t get anyone to even look at him. I’ve had five drinks while I’ve been sitting here. I’m starting to like this present.” Joe laughed in the background as he joined in to say: “My present backfired. I’m dehydrated. I can’t even get anyone to look at me.”
The couple have been enjoying their sunny getaway to Jamaica for the New Year period, Former X Factor star Stacey surprised her family with the trip, and admitted it was something she “never thought she'd be able to do”.
She took to her social media to share a video of a few children of the Solomon and Swash clan opening their presents, where the surprise was the luxury holiday to the Caribbean island. "A special ," she captioned the post. "For the first time ever we got to surprise our families for Christmas. Never felt more grateful & lucky. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be able to do this? 20 of us, 10 hours later & we have made it to paradise. Merry Christmas Everyone. Lots of love from ALL of us."
