Pamela Anderson breaks silence on 'sick' Pam & Tommy series in Netflix trailer
Pamela Anderson has broken her silence on Disney+'s controversial Pam and Tommy series in a trailer for her new Netflix documentary series.
The 55-year-old actress was thrust into the spotlight once again last year when the series about her and former partner Tommy Lee ’s sex tape, in which she was portrayed by Lily James, was released.
But until now, the former Baywatch star has stayed tight-lipped about her thoughts on the dramatisation of that key chapter of her life.
Speaking in the trailer for her forthcoming documentary Pamela: A Love Story she admits: "I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive. Now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick.
''I want to take control of the narrative for the first time. I didn’t feel like I had a lot of respect.

The two minute teaser shows archive footage of Pamela’s career including cast in her iconic Baywatch swimsuit-clad scenes.
And in a pivotal moment where interviewer Ruby Wax joins her on the Baywatch set she probed the actress about her ambitions.
The US comic asks her: "Do you want to be a serious actress?’
"I am a serious actress," Pamela replies before Ruby looks to the camera and audibly laughs.
Later on in the trailer, a voice over is heard saying: "I don’t think people consider her the owner of her own image. It’s Pamela Anderson, public property."
And in a stark omission the former pin-up admits she 'wouldn't be here' if she hadn't protected herself by choosing not to care what people think.
She added: "Some people think, 'Oh, she’s a Playboy thing' or this sexual person and they hate you for being something else.
''You have to be brave you have to use what you’ve got. Why can’t we be the heroes of our own life story?''
And the documentary's director Ryan Whitetold how Anderson allowed them 'carte blanche' access to archive footage to use to best tell her story.
