Wayne and Coleen Rooney's son goes public with first girlfriend in sweet post
Kai Rooney has declared his love for his first girlfriend in a gushing post.
The teenager, who is the eldest son of Wayne and Coleen Rooney, took to his social media account to go public with his romance. He shared a snap of the teen alongside the words: "I love you." Kai, 14, shared a picture of the girl as she posed in a black crop top and white skirt.
The sweet posts were taken in Adeje, Spain as the girl admired the sunset. Kai was tagged in the comment by a mate who wrote: "Lucky boy," to which he replied: "Muy cierta", which is Spanish for 'so true'.

The teen is currently in Manchester United’s academy system and earlier this year said: “In ten years hopefully I will be playing in the Premier League for Man United …that’s where I see myself but I’ve got to make it happen with the hard work and everything behind the scenes.”
Quizzed who his biggest inspiration was by SY Football, he replied: “I know its a a bit boring but probably my dad as he’s helped me though some of the hard times and taught me a lot about the game, even just being in the car listening to him as a manager talking to all the players.”

In 2023, Kai also kickstarted his modelling career as he played a starring role in a high-profile sportswear campaign. He was seen posing alongside other teenagers wearing back-to-school essentials, including rucksacks, jackets and shoes. Proud mum Coleen shared the snaps on her Instagram account alongside a black love heart emoji.
Kai sported a buzzcut, and looked at the camera while wearing grey trousers, a school tie, white shirt and lightweight Puma jacket. Coleen and Wayne welcomed Kai in 2009, one year after their lavish Italian wedding, and the couple went on to add three more boys to their gorgeous brood - Klay, 8, Kit Joseph, 7 and Cass Mac, 5.
Coleen has ruled out having more kids, and told Mirror Online when Cass was born that she had no plans to have a fifth baby, as her and Wayne’s family was complete, despite not having a longed-for girl. “I'm done having any more, definitely. I have always said I would like three children, so four was pushing it,” she confessed, insisting that she was “never obsessed with having a girl in the first place.”
