Mr. Robot is 'best thriller you've never heard of' - how to watch it for free
A gripping TV series hailed as 'the best thriller you've never heard of' has achieved a near-flawless Rotten Tomatoes score - despite it remaining largely unknown to most.
Starring Hollywood's revered Rami Malek, famed for portraying Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, and directed by Sam Esmail, the show is a real mind-bending experience, evoking a cascade of questions from enthralled viewers. Surprisingly unfamiliar to many, the Mr. Robot series boasts an impressive 94 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer and a 93 per cent audience score.
The sleeper hit, which debuted in 2015 and spans four seasons, follows the story of Elliot Alderson (Malek), a cyber-security engineer turned hacker by night. His life takes a dramatic turn when the enigmatic leader of an underground hacker collective recruits him into their fold. Elliot's mission is clear: assist in dismantling corporate America, a goal that includes undermining the very company that employs him, forcing him to confront a profound moral dilemma.
Despite being tethered to a corporate existence, Elliot's deeply ingrained convictions compel him to grapple with the temptation to dismantle the influential figures of multinational corporations, which he perceives as the architects of a world in disarray.
Despite its lack of mainstream recognition, the series has garnered a cult following, with one fan Mark Walter proclaiming it: "the best thriller you've never heard of".

The show currently has an excellent 8.5 rating on IMDb, attracting a string of 10/10 reviews. Maxglen posted: "The most well thought-out and unpredictable show of all time".
