Netflix is having a pre-spring clearout next month - so if you want to catch any of the following titles, you'd better be quick!

With action-flick aficionados counting down the days to the latest Expendables film (released September 22) - now is the perfect time to savour the first three movies before they disappear.

The ensemble muscle-fest features big-name stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Its first incarnation arrived in 2010, and saw a group of double-crossed merceneries asked to overthrow a ruthless dictator of a South American country (IMDB rating 6.4).

The follow-up - Expendables 2 - rocked up two years later, with the team tasked with a seemingly simple mission which evolved into a quest for revenge (IMDB rating 6.6).

Finally, Expendables 3 crash-landed in 2014, and saw the group coming into conflict with a ruthless arms dealer, hellbent on destroying the team (IMDB rating 6.1).

If all this testosterone-fuelled mayhem is a bit too much for you, there's always the thought-provoking and achingly sensitive romance of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004).

In it, Joel ( Jim Carrey ) and Clementine ( Kate Winslet ) begin a relationship following a train journey together. However, having had their memories clinically erased, neither of them actually remember their turbulent past (IMDB rating 8.3).

Continuing with the love theme, there's also Meet Joe Black (1998), where Death himself ( Brad Pitt ) comes to Earth in human form.

His mission is to escort the soul of a media tycoon, but Death's journey ends with him falling in love with the unsuspecting man's daughter (IMDB rating 7.2).

Finally, if comedy is more your bag then look no further than John Candy classic Uncle Buck (1989). The lovable titular bachelor has a reputation for being unkempt and reckless, with things going awry when he's left in charge of his brother's children during a family emergency (IMDB rating 7.1)

If all this hasn't yet got you reaching for the remote, here's a full list of what's leaving Netflix next month.
