Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent snub I'm A Celebrity wrap party
ITV's I'm A Celebrity wrap party was shunned by some of the jungle's celebrities, as Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears were absent after Sam Thompson was named the winner.
Both Jamie Lynn and Grace exited the jungle camp earlier in the series due to medical grounds, with both jetting out of Australia to head home pretty soon after. Yet as the final commenced on Sunday night (11 December), the actress and food critic were nowhere to be seen as many of the celebrities reunited to celebrate Sam's win.
In a live final, the Made In Chelsea star was crowned King of the Jungle as he beat fellow finalists boxer Tony Bellew and politician Nigel Farage.
Helping him celebrate his win, stars such as Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose, Josie Gibson, Danielle Harold, Frankie Dettori, Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes joined Sam to mark the end of this year's series. Yet as many of this year's celebrities celebrated, Jamie Lynn and Grace were notably absent. A snap of Sam sitting on his jungle throne with his campmates shows the two stars missing as he's surrounded by his jungle pals.
Grace left the ITV series after growing concern for the Masterchef star, which then saw her exit on medical grounds. A source revealed to Mail Online: "'Grace decided to leave the jungle soon after it was announced that she would be doing the latest Bushtucker Trial. Knowing that she would be facing another tough challenge was the straw that broke the camel's back.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filming"It was mutually agreed upon that she would stand down from the competition, it was clear that she wasn't being herself, she had lost all energy when usually she's witty and fun to be around." The source added that ITV's 'duty of care and welfare teams stepped in' as it appeared the food critic had lost weight and appeared faint and weak during filming.
Jamie Lynn also left the jungle, lasting just 11 days in camp with show bosses reportedly trying to encourage her to stay for longer. The star's exit was brief, with the Zoey 101 actress later reappearing on Dancing With The Stars in the US as she reunited with stars, which caused fury amongst fans. Jamie Lynn was only on the US dancing show for two weeks before being eliminated and then heading into the jungle, yet speculation has been rife that she had planned to exit the ITV show early all along so she could be a part of the DWTS finale.
