Sweet moment little boy announces the 'classic role' he has in school nativity

A schoolboy has gone viral after announcing his Navity 'classic role' - and it's certainly not Joseph or another classic role handed out each year.

You may remember your younger years, pining to be Mary, Joseph, or the Star in the nativity. But six-year-old Milo Walton was left chuffed to bits when he bagged the role 'Door Holder Number Three' in the play, and he proudly bragged to his mum about it.

In the video, he asked his mum to "guess" which role he'd managed to bag in the festive production, branding his role as a "classic one" - and the last place her mind went to was a door holder.

He exclaimed: "I'm Door Holder Number 3. I'll be holding doors!", as he told his mum the news, which he found incredibly exciting. "Get in there! Let's go! Yes!", he added, before tucking into a chocolate bar, letting the news soak in. When his mum asked him who he'd be holding doors for, he simply replied: "Erm, probably Joseph and Mary." He even joked that he'd "probably be dressed as a door."

Adorable Milo appeared on ITV's 'This Morning' alongside his mother and grandmother to share that thanks to the sweet video, he's got lots of fans, including Khloe Kardashian - but he was nonplussed by his new-found fame. He also learned that thanks to him, other children are eyeing up his now desirable role.

Milo will debut as Door Holder Number Three during the school performance on December 12, but he's been putting in lots of practice at home by opening doors. And when he joined Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond on the couch, he showed off his skills, prompting the pair to say he should be promoted to Door Holder Number One.

Milo also shared that he wouldn't be dressed as a door, as he first thought, but instead would be decked out in black or grey. He also gets to choose how the door will be decorated, and rather than a festive theme, he's opted for "Star Wars." Milo also shared that his classmates were excited about his viral video, admitting that his "teacher put it on the board."
