Model told to cover up at theme park as 'big breasts make people uncomfortable'

For the most part, people are able to wear what they want, wherever they want. That's why one woman was left 'humiliated and embarrassed' when she was told to cover up while wearing a crop to Universal Studios.

Model Whitney Paige Venable, from Florida, was mortified during the exchange at the Orlando theme park, and believes the request came due to people feeling "uncomfortable" about her naturally large breasts as she's faced discrimination previously due to her curvier figure.

She claims that an employee informed her that she would have to cover up her cleavage if she wanted to be let into the park.

Whitney was wearing a white crop top and mint green shorts at the time of the incident, which took place in June 2021 - and she claims many other women were wearing similar outfits.

Whitney said: "I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I was told I had to change my top to be able to enter. I think it's because I have naturally big breasts and it makes people uncomfortable but at far as I know my clothing wasn't against the rules.

"I feel like I was discriminated against because of the size of my breasts. I noticed other people staring and I felt really embarrassed. It was humiliating."

Whitney and her friend filmed themselves as they excitedly waited to go into the theme park, but moments later, the video shows them standing at the entrance being told the model's outfit was "inappropriate."

In the clip, she can be heard saying: "So, I guess my top is inappropriate for Universal, we're having a problem right now.

"So apparently I have to go change into a more appropriate top even though I've seen a lot of people here in sports bra-looking tops."

Reflecting on the incident several months later, Whitney fumed: "I felt like I was being targeted and it was the summer so it was hot, I didn't really understand [the issue] but having natural large breasts brings attention.

"I ended up putting on another top over the sports bra, my friend had another top in the car. But I ended up taking it off later on in the park because it was hot and ugly and the fact I was judged really p***** me off.

"Smaller women can wear whatever they want – having big breasts however gets sexualised."

Whitney claims she was also banned on Twitter for being "too hot" with people reporting her snaps because they are "jealous" of her beauty.
