Paris Hilton slammed by fans for skipping crucial parenting step with son
Paris Hilton revealed that she was "scared" to change her son's nappy for the first time one month after his birth.
The heiress and reality TV star made the revelation in her new TV show, sharing a clip to TikTok about her experience and why it left her uneasy, but fans weren't too keen on her unrelatable take.
They figured out that Paris had taken a month to change Phoenix Baron's nappy when she said: "I said I wouldn’t do this on my birthday, but I will for you." Her birthday is on February 17th, one month after Phoenix's birth.

In the scene she was joined by her sister Nicky as she braces herself for the task, and Nicky unable to hide her shock as she asks her sister: “You’ve never done it?!” to which Paris confirms she hasn't. Another woman, presumably the now one-year-old's nanny steps in to show Paris how it's done and remind her to be gentle.

She said in a confessional: "Growing up, Paris was definitely more of a tomboy, she liked to hang out in the backyard, build forts, play with her pet rats.
"She wasn’t one to really talk about having a baby, but motherhood… You’ve got to get your hands a little dirty.” But fans weren't impressed by Paris' inability to change a diaper.
One wrote: "No amount of money would stop me dealing with my own baby. The disconnect here is appalling." While a second added: "Wow… I love Paris but that is actually extremely sad. No bonding time."
A third commented: "How do these celebs even call themselves parents. Paris, Kardashians etc their kids childhood memories are literally gonna be with nannies everyday."
However, some fans jumped to her defence, with one typing: "Everyone hating on her; Paris was raised by nannies. It’s all she knows. And she has the money to have help!!! I would too if I had the money."
