Ellen DeGeneres boasts about predicting Paris Hilton’s baby’s name
Ellen DeGeneres has asked her devoted followers what she wins for predicting Paris Hilton 's child's name.
Paris stunned fans last month by announcing the birth of her first child with her husband Carter Reum. The happy couple welcomed their bundle of joy via surrogacy.
She revealed that they named their son Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. Phoenix stands for "hope, rebirth and transformation" and Paris said she chose his middle name in honour of her late grandfather, Barron Hilton.
Talk show host Ellen took to Instagram to boast on Wednesday as she shared a clip of the TV personality being on her show on January 27, 2022, where they spoke about children's names.

Paris replied: "Yes. I'm not going to say yet because I'm scared someone will steal the name."
Ellen responds: "Oh, it's that good? Does that name exist right now? Does anyone have that name?" To which Paris says: "No one I know."
Ellen quips in response: "You're going to come up with a brand new name." Paris agreed before jokingly saying "trademark it", which draws laughter from the audience.
The host looks inquisitive during brief silence before having a guess of Argentina which Paris shuts down.
But as Ellen does to a break, she hits the jackpot. She says: "Alright, after the break... I'll guess it, I will. Phoenix?"
Paris looks uncomfortable as she tries to laugh off the suggestion, with an audience member whooping the guess which gets the attention of the socialite.
Ellen then shared a clip from Paris' Instagram post promoting her memoir which announced the name of her son.
She captioned the post: "I named @ParisHilton 's baby! What do I win?!?! A hotel?!?! Paris was on my show on 1/27/22."

The hotel heiress said she wants to name a future daughter London and is hoping to have a theme of naming her children after different cities.

"I've been planning my children’s names for years and years," she explained on her podcast.
She also said that it's a "dream to be a mother", adding that her heart is "exploding with love" for her son.
Phoenix is Paris' first child, while Carter, 41, shares a daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi.
