Britney Spears slams mum after claims she sold precious items without permission
Britney Spears has clapped back at her mother Lynne Spears after she claimed she didn't "get rid of" the singer's dolls and journals.
Earlier this week, insiders had accused Lynne of auctioning off Britney's childhood collection of dolls and other items. In an Instagram post, she replied: "I'm not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and journals but I would never do that! That would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you."
She added. "They are special to me too because of the years we spent collecting them." However, Britney has since replied to her mother in a post that was seemingly dedicated to the success of fellow popstar Taylor Swift.
She wrote: "Ps, mom I love you so so much, but there were 3 dolls in the cabinets when I went home 2 years ago. Kinda really weird you would take them out and then put them back in … so messed up." To close out her message, she added: "Nope, I don't want them. Keep it all. I honestly don't care anymore … honestly though."

Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourIt comes after reports claimed the singer's explosive memoir has “burnt bridges” with her “devastated” family including her estranged sons. The Grammy-winning singer, 41, shares Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and the boys have had no contact with their mother for more than a year.
Both Sean and Jayden have chosen to live with Kevin, and earlier this year, they criticised her parenting and confessed they were embarrassed by Britney’s nude posts on social media. The teenagers even skipped her wedding last year to personal trainer Sam Asghari, and revealed they feel much safer with their dad, who lives in Hawaii with his second wife Victoria Prince.
An insider close to the Toxic hitmaker believes her sons are “devastated” by the claims made in her tell-all book The Woman In Me, and are “heartbroken” by some of the bombshell revelations. In the explosive memoir, Britney revealed she had an abortion when she was 20 while in a relationship with Justin Timberlake, and wrote about drinking cocktails with her mother when she was only 13.
“They feel the book is way too much. If Britney wants to reconnect, they feel she is going about it the wrong way,” the source explained. Britney’s criticism of ex-husband Kevin in the book, in which she called him “classless” for dating her while his ex Shar Jackson was expecting his baby, has also hit a nerve with her boys, who are reportedly “really worried” about their mum.
