When it comes to cleaning, most people would jump at the chance of time-saving tips and tricks to help them keep their homes looking guest-ready in less time. And with the help of one time-efficient, cleaning-savvy TikToker, many users have been floored with some simple tricks to help them clean like a dream.

The user, who goes by the name of @home-reimagined offers users tips and tricks on her organisation and cleaning account, with the aim of helping followers transform their homes and spaces into organized, peaceful places with streamlined tasks, which she cites on her website homereimaginedatx.com as: “creating more time for what truly matters: cherishing moments with your family (and some time for yourself)!”

With this in mind, she let her 411.7k followers into some nifty floor cleaning hacks in a recent minute-long video that offered a quick how-to guide for those looking to save time. The first tip offered a speedy match point to the cleaning pro, who told her followers” “To get scuffs off your floors, take a clean tennis ball to wipe them up and they’ll be gone in an instant.” The quick trick showcased how the thick felt surface of a brand-new tennis ball helped her buff away the scuffs, without damaging the floor in any way.

Her second tip was for natural wood floors that need a bit of TLC: “If your natural wood floors are getting a bit dull, add some vinegar, a little bit of olive oil with essential oils, or lemon juice – and don’t forget the hot water,” she said, before advising her followers to mop the floors in the direction of the wood to bring the shine in the floors back to life. “If your floors are still a little slick, you can dry them with a microfibre towel,” she added.

For people with pets, her next pet-hair hack was a game changer: “If you're sick of pet hairs stuck in your carpet, use a rake. It will loosen up all the hairs stuck in your carpet fibres and scrape it up for you.” She then showed her followers how much hair was left behind in just one spot.

For those who lose steam when they clean, her next tip was perfect. “Refresh your grout with this steamer and all of its attachments,” she said, demonstrating how to use the power of steam to clean any dirty grout, before wiping any dirt away for perfect, new-looking tiles.

Her fifth and final hack was for carpets that need a little refresh, especially if they're not smelling their best: “Spray a little bit of baking soda across it, and let it sit for 10 minutes before vacuuming.”

Her followers went wild for the tips, with 3m plays. One follower commented how much they loved the carpet rake, while another commented: “Wow! I need to try using a tennis ball to get scuffs out.”
