Cheryl was glowing as the pop songstress posed for a snap while supporting a worthy cause.

The former X Factor judge was once a household name and face, gracing screens on a daily basis as well as sharing updates across social media. But in recent years, the 40-year-old has taken a step back from public life and tends to keep a low profile and spends time at home with her son, Bear, six.

However, it appears that the former Girls Aloud star could be set to make a return and recently posed for a picture and signed an autograph for a fan while visiting a charity local to her home in Hertfordshire.

The Crazy Stupid Love singer showed off her make-up-free looks while flashing a smile from ear-to-ear as she placed her arm on George, an intern at Mission EmployAble. Opting to keep warm as the temperatures continue to drop, the mum-of-one wrapped up a fleece and joggers, while rocking a cap on her head. The singer posed and flashed the peace sign as young George looked happier than ever.

Mission EmployAble, based in Herts, trains young adults with learning disabilities to help them make the most out of their talents, while also helping to get them a job after their training is complete. Cheryl even signed an autograph for the young fan, writing: "Thank you, George," before signing her autograph.

Sharing the snap to Instagram, the organisation penned: "It was a real pleasure to have @cherylofficial stop by our Café on the Common this week and show her support for our charity. Our intern, George, was delighted to demonstrate his customer service skills and received some lovely feedback. Thank you to Cheryl for popping in - it was great to meet you!"

Cheryl's outing comes after she and her former Girls Aloud bandmates stepped out to celebrate Nicola Roberts' recent 38th birthday in London. The group, minus Nadine Coyle, were joined by their former manager Hillary Shaw, sparking rumours that they could be set to embark on a full reunion.

It comes after the group launched a brand new business venture, Let's Go Eskimo Productions LLP, taken from their hit Love Machine. The new venture is owned by four other companies, All That Jazz Entertainment, owned by Kimberley Walsh, Black Pen Limited, owned by Nadine, CC Entertainments, owned by Cheryl and Cinderella's Eyes which is owned by Roberts.

The news set social media alight with one fan of the chart-mauling group penning: "Now thinking of collabs with commercial media or BBC for the upcoming projects." "DYING," said another. While a third tweeted: "I'm shaking." The group previously ruled out a reunion when it was rumoured that they would be performing together at a charity event in honour of their late bandmate, Sarah Harding.

Harding tragically died aged 38 in September 2021, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
