Kerry Katona has 'no sympathy' for Rebecca Loos after David Beckham 'affair'

Kerry Katona revealed she "has no sympathy" for Rebecca Loos - who alleged she had an affair with David Beckham in the early noughties.

In 2003, England football legend David was hit with claims he had an affair with his and Victoria's assistant, Rebecca, who alleged she had a relationship with him while he was playing for Real Madrid. David, who was hit with allegations of affairs with other women, described the claims as "ludicrous" at the time but has hardly addressed them in the past nearly two decades.

The affair came back to light when it was discussed in the Netflix documentary, Beckham. The couple opened up about how the affair allegations impacted their relationship - with Victoria admitting they "were against each other" and struggled for a long while after it came out.

Taking to her weekly column, Kerry said she has 'no sympathy' for Rebecca - who recently appeared on Good Morning Britain to slam David for refusing to accept responsibility for what she claims happened 20 years ago. " Rebecca Loos has spoken out again about her alleged affair with David Beckham, and accused him of 'portraying the victim'," Kerry commented.

Writing for OK!, she said: "I don’t have any sympathy for her. She’s asking him for an apology but, if it did happen, then they were both in the wrong. David and Victoria have moved on and got through it, so why keep bringing it up?"

Meanwhile, Rebecca told GMB's Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway that she left the drama 'behind her' and wasn't too happy about bringing it up again. The 46-year-old told the presenters: "I had left it all behind me, I'd much rather not be here and talk about this again. I had moved on with my life.

"But the angle bothered me, how he had played the narrative and how misleading it is - and how it made me look the bad person." In her first response to the popular series, Rebecca shook her head at its coverage of the alleged affair. "It's all, 'poor me'. He needs to take responsibility," she told The Mail on Sunday.

"He can say whatever he likes of course and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he's making me look like a liar, like I've made up these stories." In one episode of the four-part series, Beckham director Fisher Stevens asked David: "Multiple tabloid stories broke, and how did you deal with that?"

The dad-of-four replied: "There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."
