MAFS UK fans left cringing as groom makes 'tragic' vows blunder at wedding
Married At First Sight UK viewers were left cringing as a groom made a "tragic" vows blunder at his wedding on Monday's episode.
Tennis coach Arthur Poremba tied the knot with finance manager Laura Vaughan during the first episode of the popular series. However, he caused quite a stir when he admitted to his brother that he got his vows from the internet. Arthur, who moved to England from Poland when he was 16, confessed he wanted to have vows that were already written for the wedding.
Yet it wasn't just the fact he used someone else's vows on his big day that shocked viewers and his bride. Arthur's speech ended by declaring his love for Laura despite never meeting her. The E4 show sees singletons paired up with strangers with the hopes of finding love due to their expert pairing.
Viewers were stunned when Arthur shared his vows. One person said: "Copying and pasting your vows from the internet Arthur needs to be fr #MAFSUK." Someone else wrote: "Arthur is nervous and trying, bless him. But that IS full on, lad. #MAFSUK." While another quipped: "He can’t say I love you when he hasn’t met her yet #MAFSUK."
However, Arthur did exactly that, and ended his vows by saying: "You are my happiness, my everything. I love you.” Laura was stunned by the confession and started laughing at her new husband. She said: "The boy has confessed his love to me and I don't even know his surname."

Another commented: "These vows are tragic! #MAFSUK feels like deja vu here…". "Chileeee, Laura and Arthur's wedding is giving me second-hand embarrassment," wrote a fan, while someone else cringed: "oh Arthur oh nooooo Arthur."
During their reception, Laura's close friends were left fuming when they found out Arthur got his vows from the internet. One of her pals said: "There was no effort, they were from the internet. Red flags, red flags." They decided to tell Laura, who was also less than impressed. She quipped: "I will go and Google the rest of our relationship then and see how that works out. I am really furious, I am in shock. It is very disappointing." Laura said she would bring it up on their honeymoon as she didn't want to ruin their big day.
Arthur has since spoke out about his decision to get his vows from the internet. Speaking before his wedding aired on screen to Daily Star about if he regretted his decision, he said: "Maybe a little bit but then again how do you pick the words for somebody you've never met before? I was moving houses as well at the same time so I didn't have time to sit down and think of how I felt. There's nothing I can change now, I have no regrets."
