MAFS' Marilyse's pals 'relieved' star dumped Matt after 'appaling' behaviour
Married At First Sight UK's Marilyse Corrigan is "not surprised" by her ex-boyfriend Matt Murray's behaviour since she ended their relationship.
The couple who both appeared on the E4 programme but at different times confirmed their relationship in November last year after growing close to one another.
Since they met and went on holiday together, their bond soon became inseparable with Marilyse later introducing her children to Yorkshire-born Matt.
The former couple jetted to Turkey while Marilyse recovered from a kidney donation and Matt processed coming away from the E4 show.
However, things soon turned sour and the personal trainer decided to call it a day and dumped the tattooed barber with sources claiming he had been causing upset while "gaslighting" his social media followers.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, a source close to Marilyse said: "We're all so relieved that Marilyse saw sense and ended things with Matt.
"He treated her appallingly, she was totally blinded by him, he love-bombed her and she always sees the good in people which left her vulnerable to him.
"She put in so much to that relationship and got nothing back. The real Matt is exactly who we saw on TV and we are just so pleased to see how happy she is without him."
Our source went on to add: "It's not surprising that Matt has targeted a series of posts at Marilyse to try and hurt her, but she's remained dignified, and classy as she always does.
"She deserves so much better in a man; someone who supports her and claps for her wins, not hold her back and questions everything."
Matt appeared to have taken a swipe at his ex-girlfriend by revealing he had taken a mystery woman to a rock climbing centre. Previously, he and Marilyse went on a climbing date with the former couple stating the location was special to them.
When approached for comment, a spokesperson for Marilyse said: "Marilyse is not surprised by Matt's recent behaviour on Instagram. She expects nothing less from him.
"Marilyse tried to see the good in him because she knows oh too well how the show edits can portray cast members inaccurately, but unfortunately, as time went on it became clear he didn't appreciate her."
The Mirror was told by Matt's former manager, who has since dropped him: "His behaviour left our working relationship untenable."
