Millie Bobby Brown addresses future father-in-law Jon Bon Jovi's role in wedding
Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about some details of her plans for her upcoming wedding to Jake Bongiovi.
The Stranger Things star announced her engagement to rocker Jon Bon Jovi's son back in April after two years of dating. Millie, 19, appeared on Today and when questioned as to whether or not her future father-in-law will be performing at her nuptials by hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager she gave a very definitive reply.
She said: “I feel like that’s asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone. I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop. He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it’s a three-hour break."

The actress confirmed that while Bon Jovi will be there as a guest, she doesn't think he will perform. She added: "That would be wild. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do just that.”
She then elaborated further on her wedding plans as she admitted that Jake, 21, has been "very involved" in the process. She said: “Jake is very, he’s very involved, he’s very helpful during the whole process. I’ve never felt alone in it, which is very nice.”
“I’m always like, ‘Is this a good idea, is this a good idea?’ But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re both very excited. I love being home with my fiancé and my family. It’s really boring but chopping up the vegetables and going to take them out to my pony is the best part of my day.”

She said: “I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake. They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”
She also recalled the first moment she met Jake and how she knew he was the one adding: “I ran to my mom and said: ‘I really, really like him. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”
