Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards 'happy' as they 'work through' marriage

Mauricio Umansky has given a positive update on his relationship with his estranged wife, Kyle Richards.

In July, it was reported that Buying Beverly Hills star Mauricio and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle had separated, but the couple were soon quick to respond to the reports. They stated that the official split speculation was untrue but that they had a "rough year".

And now it looks like things are officially on the right track for the pair, with Mauricio, who was recently named as one of the contestants on season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, gushing about his contentment with Kyle.

"You know, we're hanging in there, we're working through all of our things, which everybody knows about, and we're just taking it day by day," he said. "I can tell you we are both happy."

The 53 year old also stated that "we're not trying not to let the press influence them" and wanted to figure out their relationship on their own terms. He added in the interview with Entertainment Tonight that his viewers could "100 per cent" expect to see his whole family support him when he completed on Dancing With The Stars.

When speculation that the pair had first split emerged, Kyle was forced to deny rumours that she had moved on with country singer Morgan Wade. Kyle even starred in Morgan's flirtatious music video for her new single, Fall in Love With Me.

The pair - whose friendship is said to have formed after they interacted on social media - almost kiss at one point during the video and are also seen feeding each other fruit, with much of the video an apparent daydream. Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Mauricio and Kyle's troubles were so shocking and devastating that it is set to be addressed in the thirteenth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Bravo host Andy Cohen first teased the news on his SiriusXM "Radio Andy" broadcast show, stating: "I wanna say that this will be included next season of 'Beverly Hills' in some way shape or form. That's all I'll say."

RHOBH stars Kyle and Mauricio got engaged in the same year that they met, with them getting hitched in January 1996. Kyle and Mauricio then welcomed three daughters together - Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23 and Portia, 15.
