Taylor Swift's latest flame Travis Kelce once 'dated 50 women at once'
The financial mishandling of Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce's money led to the NFL superstar deciding to date 50 women simultaneously.
Eight months ago, Kelce appeared on the YouTube podcast " The Pivot," hosted by former NFL players Fred Taylor, Channing Crowder, and Ryan Clark. During the show, Kelce spoke about his dating history, including "Catching Kelce," a dating show where the All-Pro TE could find love by dating one woman from each state in America.
"It was extremely awkward because I really didn't have much to say about what we were doing on the show," Kelce said. "Finally, it came to me, and this is the real reason they came to me with an offer financially. I was just like, 'Alright, man, I have got to do this.' I was so bad financially my first couple of years."
As the conversation continued, Kelce noted that he went through his first few NFL paychecks quickly, spending the money on whatever he wanted to buy. His first entry-level NFL contract was signed in 2013 on a four-year, £2.5million deal. Kelce also received a fully guaranteed £500,000 signing bonus and a workout bonus of £200,000 for completing each workout during his rookie season.
"I was having so much fun buying whatever the hell I wanted to, going wherever the hell I wanted to. I was not financially looking at this as I need to have money down the line," he continued. "So I heard about this situation where I could make six figures in two weeks, and I was like, ah, and 50 ladies, I am like, 'This is actually starting to sound a little better.'"
Joe Burrow backs Patrick Mahomes after Kansas City Chiefs reach Super BowlKelce's dating history has become a hot topic after the NFL player was spotted with A-list singer and songwriter Taylor Swift, whose attention he previously tried to win after attending one of her concerts. During the NFL preseason, Kelce purchased a VIP ticket to a show, blending in with her hardcore fans labeled as the Swifties.
The Swifties have a tradition of making friendship bracelets, often trying to give their creation to Swift on stage. Kelce made Swift a bracelet equipped with his phone number but failed to deliver the bracelet to the superstar due to her strict rules of not engaging in conversations with people before or after performances, an effort to save her vocal cords.
Initially, Kelce voiced disappointment about not meeting Swift after the concert, claiming to "take it personally" on an episode of the New Nights podcast co-hosted by his brother Jason Kelce. However, his luck with the mega pop star changed when the pair began rumored to be dating.
Kelce and Swift were spotted in New York City "a few weeks ago," according to sources in attendance for Swift's Eras tour. Both entities found extra time to hang out with Kelce during a busy preseason, and Swift prepared to finish the seven remaining shows left on the US leg of the tour before going international.
