Fans of PrettyLittleThing's serum foundation are sprinting to bag the viral beauty product that is loved for "melt[ing] into the skin" and "blends like a dream" after it was revealed to be on sale for a mere £1.50, down from £8.

The PLT beauty buy caused quite the stir when make up lovers and influencers across social media discovered the somewhat magical powers of Pretty Little Thing's serum foundation and it's totally understandable when it's been likened it to the NARS Light Reflecting Foundation that’s priced at £39. Now, we all know that it's pretty hard to find a good quality foundation that makes you look flawless and doesn't break the bank - let alone be under a tenner.

So naturally with PLT's highly regarded foundation, which usually retails at £8, dropping by 81% in its September sale making it less than £2, it's safe to say shoppers are going utterly wild for it, with a number telling their social media followers to 'run' to PLT.

The foundation, which has been hailed by beauty's social media stars as their go-to and 'must have' going out make up due to its light-medium coverage for a natural glowy finish, is made with ingredients that'll help your skin out as well as cover it up - which is a double whammy we can get on board with.

It's packed with Centella Asiatica extract to help calm skin, Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerin to keep your skin fully hydrated (a godsend in the colder months) and helps with blending.

One TikTok make-up sensation Allan Craig was led to the foundation by fellow influencer Rachel Leary and said after trying it out: ’It’s giving me Nars Light Reflecting vibes - look at that GLOW. It’s giving me coverage but not too much coverage. It’s giving me glow but not too much glow. This foundation is a must-have.’’

Another user, @makeupandmindfulness111, went viral for her review of the product (over 46.7k views) and was shocked at its insane quality - she said: OBSESSED! I need 1000 bottles!"

A third, Hannah St Luce, also added: "‘’It’s just absolutely beautiful. It gives this lovely natural finish and it’s only £8.00!." as well as explaining how it: "melts into the skin".

The foundation also comes in 14 shades from warm amber to deep buff and mocha - plus, for those of us with oily, combination, dry skin types, it claims it can blend "seamlessly with any skin type to provide a long-lasting finish and effortlessly natural glow".

While £1.50 is an insane bargain, it isn't the only foundation on the market that'll keep your bank account happy - E.L.F's flawless satin foundation (£9) is silky and doesn't make you feel like you're caked in make up, Illamasqua's Beyond Foundation is just under a tenner and provides a "Lovely lightweight foundation with a dewy finish," said one shopper. Another foundation shoppers are "in love with" is Revolution's XX Glow Skin FauXXdation foundation which is currently on sale for £6 (from £15). It gives full coverage - and smells great which is always a bonus. One of The Mirror's faves, which we put to the test this summer, is Collection's Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, which is only £6.99 from Superdrug, and the 'Glow' version from Boots

The foundation isn't the only PLT beauty product in the sale as its honey bronze radiant concealer is only £2.25. Shop the PrettyLittleThing bargain foundation here.
