Israel Adesanya UK fight time: What time is UFC 293 vs Strickland tonight?

Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland will battle it out in strange circumstance in Sydney tonight, almost two days after they weighed in on Friday morning.

The bout takes place at a normal time for UK viewers; the middle of the night, but means that the event won't take place until Sunday afternoon for local fans. It will allow Strickland, who admitted he struggled to lose the extra pound and make championship weight, more time to rehydrate as he looks to pull off a monster upset against Adesanya.

Despite the event being a hometown show of sorts for the Nigerian-born New Zealand man that trains in City Kickboxing, the fans have gravitated towards his rival this week as he continues his wacky antics. He's already punched multiple fans, but bookies reckon he may not land a glove on the superior kickboxer when he finally gets in the octagon.

Adesanya : "I brought it back down, I was gonna respond. Even with Strickland. Didn’t react, but I’m gonna respond. Teaching moment. I don’t know what you wanna get from this, but just try it. Just f***ing try it. Don’t react, respond.”

Strickland : "“Nobody likes f***ing Izzy. He’s a f****** cringe-lord. Everything that guy does makes you f***ing wince. Like, did he really do that? Is he really race-baiting Dricus [Du Plessis] right now? How does this play out for you? The thing about Izzy, when somebody sucks to that degree, it’s pretty f****** easy to make fun of them. This f***ing cringe-lord. F***ing A. Even talking about him makes me want to go f***ing take a shower. I feel dirty.”
