Corrie fans 'rumble' Courtney Vance family twist after spotting 'clue'

Coronation Street fans think there could be an interesting twist coming up involving Courtney Vance as her affair with Aadi Alahan is set to be exposed next week on the cobbles.

Viewers will recall that Courtney, played by former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis, made her cobbles debut in July, alongside on-screen husband Darren Vance, and Courtney soon found herself caught up in a steamy affair with Aadi. However, despite her secret romance being a central storyline, soap watchers think there could be another twist coming up.

Only recently, Cassandra 'Cassie' Plummer arrived on the cobbles as the estranged mother of Tyrone Dobbs. However, some fans think that Cassie might also have a long-lost daughter and it could be Courtney in a huge twist, especially as the two characters are yet to meet. Taking to social media, one person said: "Courtney is definitely cassies daughter I can tell it’s funny how they haven’t bumped into each other yet" to which a different account replied: "I hope so!" while another added: "That would be a funny twist to this storyline!!"

It comes as Courtney and Aadi are set to have their affair exposed on Coronation Street next week. Aadi met Courtney a few weeks back when his dad Dev decided he wanted to go into business with Courtney's husband Darren. Whilst Aadi has been keen to learn about the business, he spent the first few days driving Courtney around.

However, when Courtney invited him to the office, it was obvious that she fancied him and soon the pair were getting intimate at all chances they could get behind Darren and Dev's back. Courtney has been away from the Cobbles for a short while, on a cruise with her husband, but things will finally be revealed next week when they're caught in a passionate embrace.

Next week on the ITV soap, Dev and Darren are thrilled that they've secured the Freshco deal and suggest a meal to celebrate. Darren suggest Aadi invites Amy, but they try to make excuses. Later, at the party, Dev brands Aadi and Amy a couple, but Aadi is quick to tell him that's not the case and he is actually dating someone called Monica.

Everyone is intrigued by his new romance, whilst separately Darren admits to Dev that things are not good with Courtney and he thinks she is having an affair. Amy listens in on their conversation, and warns Aadi about what Darren's found out. As Dev discusses Aadi's new girlfriend, everyone listens in as he describes her as a beautiful, funny and intelligent person. With Dev and Darren left distracted, Aadi and Courtney head outside where they kiss. However, Dev is left stunned when he finds them sharing a passionate kiss. Will he tell Darren about what he's seen and how will Darren react?

It looks like things get more complicated as the week goes on. Courtney has come to stay with Aadi, and he's clearly smitten over her but Dev and Asha are both wondering how long she'll stay for. Courtney declares that she wants to leave Darren and make a go at things with Aadi, but with Dev desperate to salvage the Freshco deal, will he have any luck in convincing Aadi this isn't a good idea?
