Sophie Turner 'focusing on her own happiness' as she parties after Joe split
Sophie Turner shouldn't be judged for partying with her co-stars in the wake of her divorce from Joe Jonas and showed she is 'down to earth' and 'friendly', according to a body language expert.
The 27-year-old actress is best known for playing Sansa Stark in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, but her latest TV project is being filmed in Birmingham, not far from where the star grew up in the West Midlands.
Videos emerged this week from a wrap party Sophie attended with cast and crew as filming finished on her upcoming ITV series, Joan, which follows the real-life story of diamond thief Joan Hannington, played by Turner, depicting her journey from housewife to criminal mastermind in 1980s London.
While Sophie might have been spotted downing shots and sipping cocktails as she celebrated the end of filming, body language expert Judi James said far from looking 'tired and emotional' in the pictures, the actress looks like she is having a fun time.
Although her split from husband of four years Joe, who she shares two young daughters with, was not public at the time, Judi says Sophie looked 'quite right' to be focusing on her own happiness as she let her hair down on the work night out.

Sophie Turner was photographed enjoying a night out with friends in the wake of her split (hezron.ste/Instagram)Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Judi said: "Both Joe and Sophie started their careers young but while Joe was appearing on the Disney Channel, Sophie was starring in the much darker, more shocking series Game of Thrones.
"Married for four years, their divorce is suddenly throwing up mean-sounding accusations, with the current one being that Sophie is a ‘party animal’. Videos and photos seem to suggest that she has been out getting drunk and letting her hair down. Although a less biased analysis of her body language and behaviour might be a lot less judgmental (and she did marry a rock star, to be fair).
"This seems to be the wrap party for her newest movie and it is the custom for unpretentious and popular big stars to prove they are more than happy to drop the ‘Hollywood A-list status’ and party with the entire crew. "
Judi noted some stars come with stipulations about banning everyone from making eye contact on set. Then there are other stars like Sophie who seem upbeat and down-to-earth.

If Sophie was also aware that her marriage was over, she might have felt even more like cheering herself up by having a fun time.
"Sophie is at the centre during the dancing, looking like the host who is checking everyone is having a good time. She moves about the space she is in to dance with more than one group but a clue that she is still far from being ‘tired and emotional’ is the way she still has her handbag elegantly hanging off her shoulder and tucked under her arm. Her hair looks immaculate and her dance moves look fun.
"She poses for selfies with the bar staff, again standing in the middle and she is seen downing a shot together with them, probably thinking she can be fun and friendly without seeing the photos all over the media.
"Sophie isn’t just quite rightly focusing on her own happiness during her marital split, she seems to be ensuring her entire team can enjoy what is always a celebration of the end of a long stint of filming."
