Love Island's Zachariah 'shocked and saddened by evil hate' after villa stint
Love Island star Zachariah Noble has revealed that he was 'shocked' and 'saddened' to see the endless hate and social media abuse about his relationship with Molly Marsh when they left the famous ITV2 villa.
Zachariah, 26, appeared on the summer series of Love Island this year, making it to the final alongside his now girlfriend Molly, 22. The pair are now head over heels for one another, and are planning the next steps in their relationship as they settle into an 'ordinary life' outside of the show.
During their time in the villa, Zach and Molly experienced many ups and downs, with Molly being booted from the main villa only to come back and reunite with her man in Casa Amor. Despite their sometimes turbulent romance on the show, the pair proved that they were meant to last as they won the public's hearts and managed to make it to the final.
After the grande finale, where Jess Harding and Sammy Root were crowned winners, Zachariah and Molly flew back to the UK in the hopes of becoming the latest it couple, but sadly their experience when they finally turned back on their phones after eight weeks in the villa was a tough and 'shocking' experience.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night, basketball pro Zachariah revealed that he was taken back by the unnecessary hate thrown at him and Molly on social media.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and Tanyel"Not everyone in this world is so nice - that's one of the biggest things I think I've learned from this experience. There's a lot of love out there, but I was honestly shocked to see the hate we got when we came out of the villa. It was sad to see," Zachariah admitted.
Asked how he manages to deal with the apparent criticism on social media, the Love Island finalist said: "You just can't feed fake energy. You have to know who you are and try your best to ignore it and not feed into it."
Zach's girlfriend Molly also waded in on the conversation of criticism as she explained that she tries her best to 'scroll past' any hate that she receives online after confessing that she too was surprised by the amount of social media abuse she received following her unforgettable stint in the villa.
"I don't want to know about it. If I see something I scroll straight past it. Not everyone is going to like you, and sometimes it's easier to use the block button," Molly shared.
Zach and Molly squashed split rumours which had been circling in recent days as they reunited on red carpet, as Molly dazzled in a stunning white gown while Zach looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
Molly recently sparked rumours she had split with Zach after posting a TikTok video about ‘being dumped’. However the lovebirds were closer than ever as they walked the red carpet at the NTA's hand-in-hand.
