Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Liam Gallagher were just some of the A-list names on the list of attendees for Inter Miami's game against LAFC on Sunday night - though Harry ended up attending alone.
All eyes were on the iconic forward at BMO Stadium as he looked to inspire the Herons to victory versus MLS rivals LAFC. Lionel Messi may have failed to score but his performance did not disappoint, as he lived up to his billing with a plethora of A-Listers watching on.
Perhaps it is only to be expected that a match in California would see celebrities turn out in decent numbers but Messi mania has spread like wildfire among Hollywood's household names. From Oscar winners and sporting giants to music megastars and bona fide royalty, the terraces at LAFC's home ground were littered with an incredible array of faces from the land of entertainment.
They watched the Argentina legend and his teammates pull off an impressive 3-1 victory on the road, with the Miami talisman providing two assists. Several world-famous celebrities were seen enjoying the spectacle, with Prince Harry struggling to contain his excitement before kick-off.
On top of this, actress and singer Selena Gomez was also spotted looking visibly stunned as LAFC's goalkeeper produced the save of a lifetime to deny Messi. Keeping a low profile, movie leading man Leonardo DiCaprio also was seen in the stands, wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.

They were not the only megastars present at the Los Angeles venue when the World Cup winner came to town, however. In fact a staggering 38 famous names are estimated to have attended, according to a list shared by ESPN's Herculez Gomez.
