Logan Paul details reasons for feud with streamer JiDion after heated exchange
Logan Paul has explained that his heated press conference exchange with JiDion started with the streamer's previous derogatory comments about his brother Jake while live.
The elder Paul brother went after JiDion in London backstage at the launch event for his upcoming fight with Dillon Danis, before the pair took further aim in post-event videos. And while many feel the incident started when he asked the streamer to switch seats at a UFC fight night, it appears the issue is deeper.
Paul insists that he was, in fact, friends with JiDion having previously worked together for a deal with his drink company Prime. And he believed that there was no hard feelings over the streamer being asked to move at the fights due to his interest in having a private date night with his now-fiancee Nina Agdal.
"There was no beef, dog," Paul told comedian Andrew Schulz on his podcast Flagrant. "JiDion went ape s*** on my brother, I texted him because I'm friends with him and I said 'I think you went a little too far, if you ever want to handle something with Jake just call me, dude. There's no reason to go at his exes.' He went from zero to 100 on my brother.
"First off, I hate giving this narrative any f***ing fuel because I don't give a f***. I just don't. We were at a UFC event, he was sitting next to us and there was a live streaming camera in our face, I didn't feel like being live streamed, God strike me down, so I very politely asked him - he's my friend, we worked together with Prime - if he didn't mind switching seats with me.

"It was just so he could face the other way because I didn't feel like being live streamed all night, please don't be mad at me, JiDion. This was coming from a nice place, I'm not good at messaging but whatever I said was polite. I think it rubbed him a little bit the wrong way."
He explained that he understood why JiDion was keen to be on stream regularly, complimenting his massive viewership across social media. But he was irked by later comments made about his younger brother Jake, who came under fire from the streamer during a later video.
"I get content creation especially being a young creator," he continued. "He's in the heat of it and he's doing great. His numbers are great, he's got a loyal audience, Ws in the chat for JiDion so I think it may have rubbed him the wrong way because I'm out of it, I'm not daily vlogging or live streaming and I value the time and privacy I have with my girl at these events we come to a lot.
"Then he snapped on my brother and people can say that I'm a bad brother and all this s*** but at the end of the day I only have so much tolerance for people who are talking s*** about Jake... I called him up and said 'hey I think you went a little too far with Jake,' and he apologised or whatever because he was talking about his ex and all the deepest cuts you could go for with Jake.

"I think both of those things, which I can say confidently I was within reason, I don't think either of those are out of the ordinary. It kind of rubbed him the wrong way so when this Dillon s*** started coming out, that was the extent of my conversation with Jidion, he started stoking the fire with Dillon.
"He's telling him 'get back on Twitter you're the funniest guy ever' and in my head I'm like 'you worked with us with Prime, you've been on my podcast, we're friends, we have open dialogue, I even gave you advice with some stuff in your career'. Then because of these two things that I think were very reasonable, why are you completely flipping to someone who is an evil human?
"To a person who is so supposedly good-virtued as JiDion is why choose Dillon f***ing Danis? An actual evil f***ing human. Then he was in [London] and I knew this was going to happen, he was chirping and trolling me in person and I had just thrown a cake of Dillon Danis' head at Dillon and I was like 'yo, you're two-faced'.
"I didn't understand what he was saying and he says he doesn't need to be real with me because I'm not real but I've only kept it real with JiDion. I don't know the young man."
