We can't be the only ones counting down the days until our little angels return to school? And let's face it, there's few things in life that are quite as torturous as shopping for new school shoes.
The task of visiting stores, measuring their feet up to different shoe brand sizes, hearing their moans and groans at the prospect of never finding a pair - it's safe to say we wanted to find ways to make the whole process a little easier.
In comes Hush Puppies and their incredible measuring system.
Our expert reviewer and Cost of Living and Family Editor at Manchester Evening News, Emma Gill, decided to try out the Hush Puppies 'Fit Left, Fit Right' (FLFR) fitting system which means you can avoid the stores altogether by doing it all from home.

You can print out the fitting gauge at home, which allows you to measure not only the length of each foot, but the width too.
Each pair of FLFR shoes comes with three pairs of insoles of varying thickness to allow you to get the perfect fit with each shoe.
Given the fact that one in three kids have one foot slightly wider than the other, this is a godsend.
My daughter is one of them and it's always tricky to get shoes that fit well.
Thankfully by using a different insole in each one of her Mary Jane style Tally shoes, £57, we were able to get the perfect fit.
The same applied with my niece too, who has a high instep so needed one insole thinner than the other with her Kerry patent buckle fasten shoes, also £57.

My son has no issues, other than complaining that his toes feel squashed in the pointy style that most boys are choosing for high school these days.
While not included in the FLFR range, the Adrian style, £60, is the ideal compromise, with the shape he prefers, yet also giving a comfortable fit.
It's quite a weighty shoe to the ones he's had previously, but hopefully it'll mean they're more likely to stand the test of time.

Podiatrist Lindsay Hill, of Axis Podiatry, has previously used the Hush Puppies ‘Fit Left, Fit Right’ system and says it's ideal for those needing to make some adjustments to get the right fit.
She said: "Everyone's feet are shaped differently and it can be tricky to get something that fits well, especially if their feet are different sizes.
"It's handy to have a system where three lots of insoles come with each pair of shoes to help get the right fit.
"They're also ideal for children that need orthotics because you can replace the footbeds they provide with your own and not need to worry about whether they will fit."
And she stressed how important it is for kids not to wear ill-fitting shoes.
"Your child will be wearing these for around eight hours a day, five days a week," said Lindsay. "School shoes are as important as good trainers are to a runner.
"Children's feet are still growing and developing so it's really important that they are looked after properly."
