1000-lb Sisters has finally wrapped up filming for the upcoming season, which promises to deliver plenty of drama for fans.

Season four of the hit TLC show finished airing back in March and ended with Tammy Slaton getting married to Caleb Willingham at a food rehabilitation centre. Since then, the stars of the show remained tight-lipped about the new season, until Tammy shared a long-awaited update with fans last month.

Taking to TikTok, the 37-year-old took part in a fan Q&A, during which she was asked when new episodes would be airing. Responding to the question, Tammy said: "What people don't know is season four isn't over."

She explained how the new episodes, which will air in December, will focus on a huge storyline, as unseen footage from her wedding is set to be aired. She added: "My wedding was a two-part thing, so it made season four have more episodes.

"We have part b coming out December 12. So there's still season four but the second part of it." Tammy and Caleb met while she spent 14 months at an Ohio weight loss facility. Caleb had been staying at the treatment facility for almost a year before Tammy's arrival.

He proposed to the reality star in October 2022 in front of her family and friends. They then said 'I do' at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Centre in Ohio in November that year.

Their special day was attended by family and friends, with Tammy's sister Amy Slaton stepping in as Tammy's maid of honour. During the ceremony, Amy admitted it was "bittersweet" to see her sister step into a new era of her life.

Sadly, Tammy and Caleb's romance wasn't meant to be and they split after just five months of marriage. According to reports, Tammy was planning to file for divorce from Caleb after he let his weight loss slip.

Fans were then saddened to hear the news of Caleb's death in July this year. Following his passing, Tammy hosted a memorial service for her estranged husband which was attended by family and friends.

The funeral, which took place near her home in Kentucky, was filmed by TLC for the new season of 1000-lb Sisters. In pictures of the intimate gathering, Tammy was seen breaking down in tears as she said her final goodbye to Caleb.

In the heartbreaking photos, the TV star was seen in a short black dress while wiping away her tears with a tissue as she held a bouquet of bright, colourful flowers. However, Tammy has since hit out at TLC producers for making her late husband's funeral seem more "depressing" than it was.

She accused the channel of "forcing drama" at what should have been a very special event. "The filming of the funeral was 'completely not natural' and things were put in there to make it seem sad when it really wasn't that sad. People were having fun, but [TLC producers] made it depressing," a source claimed.

They also said that Tammy was concerned fans would think she had relapsed because of the way TLC filmed the funeral. Speaking to The Sun, they added: "She isn't emotionally relapsing or going back on her diet - she's doing great."

Filming for the new season had to be halted earlier his year due to a huge family fight. The crew are said to have taken time off filming after a fight started between siblings Tammy, Amy, Amanda Halterman and Chris Combs while they were on holiday in Florida.

A source claimed the argument between the siblings turned physical and alleged the family "really got into it". It's possible that the family drama will be shown in the new episodes of 1000-lb Sisters.

1000-lb Sisters star Amy is said to have gotten a new boyfriend following her divorce from Michael Halterman, with whom she shares two young sons. The reality star is said to have moved on with Michigan local Tony Rodgers.

It also looks like there's some drama between Amy's new boyfriend and her sister Tammy, with a source claiming Tammy "does not like Tony at all" They said that on one family trip out, Tony and Amy "fought so much that they missed numerous exits and just screamed at each other the whole time."

Speaking to The Sun, they added: "They are still acting like a happy couple," before saying Tammy feels like "Tony does nothing but live off of Amy." It's believed Amy has moved Tony into her home in Kentucky.

1000-lb Sisters has showcased Tammy and Amy's incredible weight loss. Despite previously fighting for her life because of her food addiction, Tammy has managed to slim down further since the show.

Tammy originally weighed in at 717lb (51 stone) and spent time in a food rehabilitation centre as she worked at turning her life around. During one scary incident, Tammy was rushed to hospital when she stopped breathing at the facility. She was put on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma.

Luckily, despite her body "shutting down", she was eventually well enough to return to rehab and continue with her weight loss. Tammy has now lost almost 400lb (28.6 stone) in total, with her recently reported to have weighted in at around 340lb (24.3 stone). Amy, meanwhile, has reportedly lost more than eight stone in recent years.
