My 600lb Life star unveils 40 stone weight loss after being unable to stand up
Marla McCants looks unrecognisable after turning her life around and losing more than 40 stone (560lb).
The My 600lb Life star weighed in at more than 57 stone (800lb) when she appeared on the TLC reality show and could no longer stand up due to her weight.
The 43-year-old had become dependent on her children to help her out around the house and spent most of her time in bed.
Marla's weight had soared after she developed compulsive eating habits as a result of past trauma.
In one episode of My 600lb Life, Dr Nowzaradan said he was worried Marla "wouldn't survive the next 24 hours" and said she was "in the worst condition" he had ever seen.

Marla worried doctors because of her weight (TLC)Marla had previously worked as a nursing assistance and said she became an "emotional wreck" when she had to have a nurse aide take care of her.
With the help of Dr Now and gastric bypass surgery, Marla managed to lose a lot of weight by the end of her episode, which aired in 2015, and finished the show weighing in at 38 stone (532lb).
Four years later, she confirmed she had lost more than 40 stone in total, taking her weight down to 17 stone (240lb).
It seems the reality star has continued to follow her diet plan and she now regularly updates fans with her weight loss progress on Instagram.

In a series of pictures shared on social media, Marla beamed for the camera as she flaunted her incredible weight loss.
She looked glamorous with a full face of makeup and wore her purple hair in tight curls which fell around her shoulders.
Fans praised the star for her transformation, with one person writing: "You look amazing!! I'm so proud of u and the journey you've endured and the strength u have to overcome any obstacle!"
Another said: "Just seen your journey. So glad you found the motivation. Amazing accomplishment."
"I just watched your episode for the first time!! Great job! So proud of you!! You are beautiful!!" penned a third fan.

Speaking about her weight loss to Sister Circle, Marla said: "I never want to go back to that place, the way I was treated.
"I never want to go back there, it’s lonely."
