Logan Paul makes bold claim that KSI was tougher opponent than Floyd Mayweather
Logan Paul thinks his business partner KSI was a tougher opponent than boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
Paul and KSI twice fought to a majority draw in their 2018 white-collar fight, which set up a professional rematch the following year. KSI won by split decision in their second fight, which was a huge commercial success as it sold two million pay-per-view buys, placing it in the top five highest-selling fights of all time.
KSI took a lengthy break from the ring after beating Paul, who returned in June 2021 to go eight rounds with Mayweather in an un-scored exhibition fight. Ahead of Paul's boxing return against Dillon Danis in October, the YouTube boxer claimed that KSI posed more challenges for him than former five-weight world champion Mayweather did.

"Oh, who's tougher? Honestly, KSI. It was a harder fight, he's just a dog. He's got this tenacity and intensity that I've never seen. When you're in the ring with him he just wants to kill you, he can't lose! He made a documentary called 'Can't Lose' and I think he really believes that in his heart so he tries as hard as he can. I think Floyd Mayweather knew he wasn't gonna lose."
Logan Paul and KSI announce new partnership with UFC president Dana WhiteOfficial punch stats from Paul and Mayweather's fight show that Paul was outlanded despite throwing over 100 more punches than the boxing legend. Paul takes confidence from the fight heading into his ring return against Danis, which takes place on the same card as KSI vs Tommy Fury.
"We'll see how this fight plays out, I honestly think I can do whatever I want to him. He's a Brazilian jiu-jitsu guy and he's not even good at that. I don't know how he thinks he is going to box, striking is his worst forte and I've been boxing for five years. Went toe-to-toe with Floyd Mayweather, 0-1. That should say enough about how good I am," Paul told Misfits Boxing.
Neither Paul or KSI's upcoming fights will go on their professional records as both are being sanctioned as exhibition bouts by the PBA. KSI looks to do what Paul's brother Jake couldn't by beating Fury as the Love Island star is fighting for the first time since his split decision win against Jake earlier this year.
