Death In Paradise's police team will receive some huge news tonight that there's a baby on the way for one character.
Still reeling from his prison stint last episode and finding out his girlfriend Sophie wasn't who she said she was, Neville Parker - played by Ralf Little - is still struggling with his feelings towards what happened. His friends and colleagues worked tirelessly to help clear his name before it was later revealed that he himself had worked out how it all happened from within his police cell.
This week, as he continues to struggle and eases himself back into work, he's dealt some huge news about a baby on the way.
In an exclusive first look, Catherine Bordey is stood outside the police station as Darlene and Marlon congratulate her on the news before announcing to the Inspector what they've just been told.
"Inspector, sarge, Catherine has just had the best news," she began to say, before adding: "Camille has just phoned and I'm going to be a grandmother. She and her partner Leo moved in together a few months back. It was unexpected but they're over the moon."
EastEnders' Davood Ghadami secures his first TV role since Holby City was axedNeville then told her: "That's great news, congratulations. I'm really pleased for them."
Talk then turned to Neville being back at work, having taken some time off after what happened last week.
"Duty calls and all that," he said, before adding: "On which note, I should probably go work on the case." His team pointed out he didn't look great, as they worried he didn't look himself.
"Women notice these things Marlon," Darlene said, before Marlon added: "It's like you all have a secret superpower or something."
During tonight's episode, it's back to work for Neville, who leads the team as they try and work out who has murdered a renowned calypso singer's husband. Convinced it's poison due to the blue traces on the man's fingers, Neville sets to work at proving his theory but there are other lines of inquiry they must also investigate too.
Neville is having second guesses about working on the island anymore following Sophie's betrayal and tells the Commissioner that he intends to leave Saint Marie to rid himself of all the reminders. But what will his final decision be?
