Death In Paradise first look as Neville and team investigate wedding death
Death In Paradise is back for a new episode tonight - as DI Neville Parker and his team investigate a death at a wedding.
Ralf Little returns as Neville Parker for a new episode of the much-loved BBC detective drama, as DS Naomi Thomas - played by Shantol Jackson - heads back home to St Barnabas to attend the wedding of her best friend Monique Hays. Her former Sergeant and mentor Sammy Debraun is present at the nuptials whilst another arrival causes shock for the whole congregation.
As the bride's estranged mother Odette Hays makes her appearance, everyone is stunned - but as the happy couple go to cut the cake and celebrate the rest of their day, father-of-the-bride Rex Hays staggers across the dancefloor with a knife in his stomach.
As Rex is crowded around and people rush to help, with his dying breath, he claims to know who killed him. Naomi calls on her boss and the team - Officer Marlon Pryce (Tahj Miles) and Trainee Officer Darlene Curtis (Ginny Holder) - for help with the case.
Witnesses claim the culprit slipped a knife into a handbag after the stabbing, it seems like the case is a simple one to solve but when further evidence is revealed, it seems their initial thoughts might not be quite right.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessElsewhere, Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington) is preparing for the arrival of his daughter Andrina, as he discusses his emotions with Catherine Bordey (Élizabeth Bourgine) - but is he ready to meet her?
In an exclusive first look at the new episode, which airs later this evening on BBC, Neville - with his numerous allergies - disinfects the hotel room ready for him to sleep in as DS Thomas comes by to see how he's getting on.
As Marlon arrives at the room, he asks DI Parker what he's doing - and why he's doing it to his room, before the duo soon realise there's been a mix up and they're now having to share a bed.
Offering to top and tail with Marlon, he looks horrified as DS Thomas can't help but laugh at how it all happened.
