Steve Irwin's son Robert and Heath Ledger's niece Rorie Buckey are officially an item after looking all loved up on the red carpet.

The cute couple have appeared together at the premiere of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One in Sydney, Australia last night. The 19-year-olds couldn't stop smiling as they cosied up to each other in co-ordinating outfits while posing for pictures before going inside to enjoy the film.

Rumours first emerged of Robert and Rorie's romance rumours last November when they were first pictures together on a beach in Queensland. On Robert's birthday in December, they were spotting sitting with his mother Terri Irwin at their family's famous Australia Zoo.

Rorie, daughter of the Dark Knight star's sister Kate Ledger, looked glam in an asymmetrical black maxi dress, with a statement cut-out piece across her torso. Robert looked dapper in an all-black suit. The teens waved to fans at the star-studded event together for the seventh instalment of the spy movie franchise.

Both the youngsters lost someone very special to them at a young age. Steve, known as 'The Crocodile Hunter', was an Australian zookeeper and conservationist and he sadly passed away September 4, 2006, reportedly due to a stingray attack at Batt Reef, Australia. Heath, arguably best known for playing the role of The Joker in 2008's blockbuster The Dark Knight, lost his life on January 22, 2008, in his New York apartment reportedly from a accidental drug overdose at the age of 28.

It comes as Robert's sister Bindi Irwin has opened up about her struggles with severe endometriosis which saw her undergo life-changing surgery earlier this year after doctors ignored signs. She explained she had been suffering from intense pain, but doctors had initially dismissed the concerns she had raised.

Bindi, 25, later started doubting herself despite her health continuing to deteriorate. Last year, the mother-of-one collapsed and fell into a fetal position due to the extreme pain. In a candid admission, Bindi says she underwent tests for various diseases and even cancer but alarmingly, she was told to "have a cup of tea" by medical staff.

She said: "I was tested for everything. Every tropical disease, Lyme disease, cancer, you name it. I had every blood test and scan imaginable." She went on to say that it felt "inescapable" before adding doctors said: "It's all in your head', 'You're just hormonal', or 'Just have a cup of tea, lay down'" while adding that she felt "so desperately alone".

Speaking to People, Bindi explained her collapse led to medical staff ensuring she underwent a laparoscopy, a minimally invasive procedure that helps diagnose and discover treatment for intra-abdominal conditions. "I was so scared that they wouldn’t find anything because we had run out of everything else to test for," she said.

The procedure confirmed she was suffering from endometriosis, a condition which causes the uterine tissues to grow outside of the uterus, leaving the person in severe pain and also causing cramping. During her laparoscopy, doctors also discovered 37 lesions (different from the surrounding skin, including colour, shape, size and texture) and a cyst, which she had removed during an operation.
