Sister Wives fans are divided over Christine Brown’s ‘petty’ reaction to Kody as he’s slammed in premiere

Sister Wives fans have been left confused how to feel over Christine Brown's "petty" slamming of Kody Brown.

Viewers are divided after she started laughing when she reunited with her ex-husband and they were talking about a serious topic. He was discussing a time when he was unwell but some thought Christine was being lighthearted while others thought she was being mean.

They talked about Kody being sick during Gwendlyn, one of their children, birthday. Christine laughs while recalled Gwendlyn's reaction to Kody being "so out of it" after he tested positive for COVID-19 last year.

She then apologised for laughing as Kody said: "You’re mean that way, it’s OK."

Fans of the show took to Twitter to talk about how they felt about the moment. One said: "I love that Christine can look back and laugh about situations in her life with Kody. You have to find the good times so you don’t dwell on the bad times and just stay bitter."

While one disagreed: "Christine is coming off as juvenile and petty here."

During a confessional, Christine explained that she was used to Kody reacting like that when he was unwell, saying: "I was married to him for 27 years, alright? It was like every time that guy got sick, it was like the whole world revolved around him being sick."

Later on as she is still giggling, Christine says: "I’m not married to him anymore. It’s so freaking awesome." Elsewhere in the episode, Janelle, who was also previously married to Kody, and Christine met up and they discussed how Kody blamed his ex-wives for their broken family. However, viewers said that he should understand his part in the splits.

One said: "How is Kody blind to the fact that 3 of his wives left him? Take a closer look at yourself Kody instead of blaming your wives."

As another added: "Kody needs to take accountability for the issues between him and the children!!"

Christine announced on social media in November 2021 that she was splitting with Kody after more than 25 years together.
