Britney Spears spoke about finding 'joy and happiness' ahead of split
Britney Spears spoke out about finding "joy and happiness" days before her reported split with husband Sam Asghari. The 41-year-old pop legend and her younger 29-year-old actor hubby are reported to have called time on their one-year marriage.
This came just days after the pop princess posted on Instagram about finding "happiness" in a post praising polka dot-themed clothing.
She wrote: "Polka dots have always been so much fun to wear in my opinion !!! It definitely adds a nice touch to any ensemble !!!"
Citing polka dot wearing legends such as Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana and Julia Roberts, she shared a number of pictures of herself wearing the pattern. She added: "I'm showing my respect to polka dots today because I feel they give a hint of joy and happiness when I put them on !!! Here's a pic of me in early the 2000s with my polka dot bikini with the same reading glasses I have on today !!! I also did a pull of some of my current favourite polka dot wardrobe pieces TODAY. Why??? Because why not!!"

Sam is said to have moved out of the marital home he shared with Britney. An insider told TMZ: "It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce."

Sam wasn't the only one to abandon the house, though he apparently hasn't been at the home much lately anyway. Britney was reported to have moved out as well.
The news comes following reports from a TMZ documentary that their marriage was in "deep trouble". The outlet claimed to have verified this information with "multiple sources".
At the time, Sam discredited the documentary, calling it "disgusting" and said it took advantage of Britney, using her as "a money-making machine" on his Instagram story. He said: "I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs."
