Prince Harry has been away from his family in recent days, having travelled to Asia earlier this week to participate in a charity event and to attend a summit associated with sport.

The philanthropist, 38, bid farewell to Meghan Markle, 42, and their two children, who stayed in the US, a few days ago as he embarked on the trip. He headed to Japan for the ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition on Wednesday.

He's since visited Singapore on the solo trip, having taken part in his charity Sentebale's annual Polo Cup on Saturday afternoon. He played on the Royal Salute Sentebale Team, which competed against the Singapore Polo Club Team.

The rival team in Sentebale and the International Sports Promotion Society's Polo Cup at Singapore Polo Club was captained by Ignacio "Nacho" Figueras, 46. He's the charity's ambassador and is a long-time pal of Prince Harry.

Nacho spoke to Hello! magazine about Prince Harry ahead of the match earlier this week, teasing that they were both looking forward to reuniting with their families. And he said that Prince Harry would be returning to the US this weekend.

He said that both himself and Prince Harry would be leaving Singapore on Saturday. The latter has been away from his wife Meghan and their children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, who stayed at home in the US.

Speaking ahead of the polo match, Nacho said that he and Prince Harry were missing their wives "very much". He told the outlet whilst in the country abroad for the fundraising event earlier: "We miss them, we wish they were here."

He continued: "We go back tonight so we will see them soon." Nacho said they would be at a gathering first, saying: "We'll play polo, then there's a dinner that we do for the people who have been so supportive and then we leave."

Prince Harry founded Sentebale in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The charity says it aims to support young people in countries like Lesotho. The organisation states that it assists those affected by HIV and poverty, for example.

Prior to his solo trip this week, he said that the annual Polo Cup would help with "Sentebale's vital work ensuring children and young people are healthy, resilient, and able to thrive." He said that the funds raised would "support [its] Clubs and Camps programme, which provides intensive psychosocial support to young people living with HIV".
