Tragedy as 'amazing' dad suddenly collapses and dies of cardiac arrest age 25
Tributes have poured in for an "amazing" dad who collapsed and died while at work aged just 25.
Jordan Lockington was rushed to hospital after he suffered a cardiac arrest on the evening of Saturday, August 5. His family shared their heartbreak after he died from a lack of oxygen following from the freak accident.
Jordan, who has been described as hard-working, leaves behind his two young children aged one and three. His family said they were in "utter shock" and explained his death was "unexpected" on a fundraising page.
His partner Elle wrote on his Facebook on August 6: "A lot of people will know that Jordan collapsed at work last night and I’m sure people are worrying because of how loved he is, he suffered from a cardiac arrest, the doctors are unsure why it has happened or if there was any cause. He’s currently sedated, and in the best place he can be, our Jord is a fighter and I know he will fight as hard as he can to come home to our babies."

She wrote on her Facebook page: "My heart is so broken beyond repair. It’s hard to even explain into words right now how I’m feeling because there just isn’t any. No parent should have to bury their child before themselves." She added that he "touched everyone's lives" and said she was "forever proud" of the man he became.

Jordan was described as a "genuine and loving person" on the page, which read: "It’s with great sadness and heartbreak that we lost our amazing Jordan at such a young age of 25. He was an amazing son, dad, brother, fiancé & uncle. It was an utter shock and so unexpected. He suffered from cardiac arrest and then a lack of oxygen to the brain which caused brain death.
"He worked his a**e off to provide for his family day in day out and the last thing you want to worry about is funeral costs when you’re grieving. He deserves the best send of we can possibly give him. He was the most genuine and loving person who would do anything for anyone."
Jordan's loved ones paid their respects with tributes between the fundraiser and social media. One person said: "My mentor, gone far far far too early. Ile always be shocked." While another said: "Rip to an amazing cousin uncle godfather and friend. We love you Jords and will miss you xx"

I’m so sorry for your loss." Another added: "Hard to believe. He was such a funny lad and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by so many people.
