Mortifying Matt Hancock has been brutally mocked for a cringe lip-sync display as he performed as Ken from the Barbie movie.

The shamed former Health Secretary belted out the odd ballad on beach as he flexed his biceps and made fists toward the camera. Wearing white shirt and beige shorts, he shows off on TikTok, waving his hands and dancing to I'm Just Ken, sung by Ryan Gosling in the new film.

The tune has become a surprise social media sensation, even reaching to number 14 in the Official UK Chart. It has led to scores of TikTokers creating their own videos saying they are "Kenough". Hancock wanted a piece of the action and put together her own version which was ruthlessly picked apart.

The former I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant shared the video walking along a beach, miming and dancing to the song with the caption: "I am Kenough" with the flexed arm emoji. In the film, Ryan's Ken sing the hit to Barbie, played by Margot Robbie. It questions the unrequited feelings he has towards her and questions whether it is "destiny to live and die a life of blonde fragility".

It is not the first time the West Suffolk MP has raised questions for his moves outside of Westminster. He was criticised by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak when he decided to enter the I'm a Celeb camp, withdrawing the Conservative whip.

He was also criticised by families who had lost loved ones during the Covid pandemic. Although he became a surprise hit on the show, finishing in third place behind Owen Warner and winner Jill Scott. He was appointed Health Secretary in July 2018, but stepped down in June 2021 after footage emerged of him kissing an aide at the Department of Health's London HQ in a blatant breach of Covid rules.
