Kerry Katona has no regrets about filming the birth of her fourth child and only son, Max, for a reality television programme. The footage of the former Atomic Kitten singer's hospital stay was shown on her MTV reality series, Crazy In Love, for all her fans to witness.

The star, who shares 15-year-old Max with taxi driver Mark Croft, said the footage is the "best photo album you could have" as she recommended the process to Love Island's Olivia Attwood – who recently said she wants to film her first birth for her reality series as well.

After telling Olivia she should 'absolutely do it', Kerry explained in her weekly OK! magazine column: "When I gave birth to my son Max it was shown on my MTV reality show, but there was only one person in the room holding the camera, so it’s not like there was a crew gathered round.

"We all watch shows like One Born Every Minute. And it’s great to have the film footage as a memory – better than a photo album. I’d watch it, Olivia!"

The former Atomic Kitten singer is also mum to Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, and eight-year-old DJ. Kerry's weekly column comes after Olivia, 32, revealed she is planning on giving birth on camera if she ever has children with her husband Bradley Dack. The former Love Island star tied the knot with footballer Brad, 29, in a stunning ceremony at London’s five-star Bulgari hotel in June.

She has already shared intimate details of her life, including her Ibiza hen do and wedding, on her ITVBe reality shows Olivia Meets Her Match and Olivia Marries Her Match. She even explored the world of selling sex online for her engaging ITV documentary series, Getting Filthy Rich.

Although she admits she "doesn’t wake up thinking about kids" as she is "obsessed" with her career and new husband Brad, the former Love Island star says she is constantly being asked when she is having babies now she is in her 30s. At this stage, the newlyweds don’t know if children are in their future, but if it does happen Olivia plans to share the experience with fans in her reality show.

"The idea of filming my birth is scary, but yes in some capacity it would be natural to share that, and I’d want to," she told MailOnline. "I think that would be fun and the viewers would have grown up with me and to see me making life would be really cool." Hinting it won’t be happening anytime soon, Olivia added: "For me, I am so obsessed with my career right now and so obsessed with Brad that I don’t wake up thinking about kids. But I know that might change and I will want them someday."
