Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas' rainy family holiday as daughter changes hair
Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas have shared snaps of their drizzly family staycation to Cornwall.
But instead of sunshine the family-of-five were treated to clouds and rain and all looked to be wearing winter jumpers in the photos. However, they still made the most of it with a trip to the Eden Project and toasting marshmallows round a fire pit.
Ex-Coronation Street actor Ryan, 39, and former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy, 32, were joined by kids Roman, three, and one-year-old Lilah on the trip. Ryan’s 14-year-old daughter Scarlett, who he shares with ex Tina O’Brien, and his mum Gail also tagged along.
Taking to her Instagram stories to share some cute snaps of their ‘family staycation’, Lucy revealed they stayed at Fowey Hall, a luxury family hotel with a swimming pool in South Cornwall just moments from the sea.

In another pic, he was branded the ‘annoying little brother’ when he had a go at playing the piano with big sister Scarlett, who has followed her parents into acting and is currently starring in Waterloo Road.

Fans also got a close-up glimpse of baby Lilah, who couldn’t get any cuter if she tried. The tot isn’t walking yet, but looked to be having a whale of a time being carried round by mum and dad on the family getaway.
Over on his own Instagram, Ryan shared more outtakes from their break down south and joked that he had “just finished 200 lengths” as he posted a picture of the outdoor swimming pool as it tipped down with rain.

Giving fans a glimpse of the disappointing Cornish weather, Ryan said: “Good morning from sunny(ish) Cornwall. Just a reminder guys that in Manchester, where I’ll be moving very soon and super excited for, we have a run club called Run Manchester, it’s a real community, a family."
He continued: "It’s great for a healthy routine, meeting new people, physically, mentally and puts you in a good mindset. Please check it out because when I’ve moved back I’ll be joining and we can all run together. You won’t be disappointed, you’ll really enjoy it. But yes, enjoy. See you in Manchester soon, yessss!”

With baby Lilah during a trip to the Eden Project (Instagram)Earlier this year, Ryan and Lucy revealed they were renovating an Edwardian house in Manchester so they could move up north later this year – and Ryan’s teenage daughter Scarlett has got her very own floor.
Lucy's self-proclaimed "mini-mansion" also has a huge modern extended kitchen, marble bathroom and even a special room for her expansive shoe collection.
Speaking on his Mancs on the Mic podcast with brothers Scott and Adam earlier this year, Ryan said they were making the move so the family could all be in one place. He explained: "I've got Scarlett who I have to keep going back and forward for…
"That puts a strain on our relationship because I’m not with her [Lucy] because I’ve gotta get back for Scarlett. There is that trying to find a mix of making both work and working out where you’re going to end up."
He added: "I think eventually I’d like to be in Manchester with both my kids, but at the moment it’s having that help at hand in London it’s just easier, but I think eventually I would love to be back where I started with all my brothers and all our kids."
